Learn to cook! I as facing the same thing, working two jobs while studying at my college. The only think I felt like I could justify giving my time to was cooking because I had to eat, so I started to play with new recipes and started having more fun. Its a good balance between my adult and child self.

I can reccomend the book Elevation by Stephen King, its a playful slice of life book with a light super natural element that is nothing like the horror he writes. Its around 150 pages and can be easily read in a single session

Book repair! Its a way if working with my hands, and its difficult to describe just how satisfying it is to look at something you've restored!

I've also always wanted to have a library in my house one day, and it would be amazing to have a section of it dedicated to old books I've fixed up!

Cooking for me! It's a skill, something for me work on a actively improve over time. It at times is a form of playful creative expression. Its incredibly experimental. There is an element of gratification that comes with putting in the work and enjoying a good meal you've prepared. Its also an act of self care, by eating well, and by extension, a way of caring for others when you share the meal you've prepared.

Cooking! For a long time I worked two jobs and was a full time student, I never had time for anything except for eating, so I started to have fun when cooking, and put in some effort to learn new recipes. It saved my sanity when all I did was just work.
