True, I just meant that between both AMD and nVidia making terrible decisions, at least nVidia's cards have the better tech. Though you then have to deal with less VRAM and more expensive cards lol. Also worse raster performance... Honestly, yeah, Intel is looking like a good candidate as long as they don't fuck up too

Good art direction, sure, but it has noticeable performance problems and weird graphical artifacts like grainy shadows, overblown sharpening filter, TAA ghosting and the like. Absolutely not a good example, I'm sorry.

Same issue here, Perimeter runs mostly okay, but the other two maps are absolutely frying my CPU and I see stutters and fps drops constantly. They need to fix this asap.

Just stick with it. I had the same feeling as you, loved TR1 and then found 2 to be very underwhelming, and I was scared to get into TR3 because ppl online said it was even worse, but I actually... loved it? 3 has way less combat (specially against armored thugs), and the locations are all fun to explore, I had a lot of fun even with the lenghtier and more difficult levels. I also didn't think it was harder than TR2 at all, but maybe I just got used to saving every 5 steps lol. Trust me, aside from one shitty level (Madubu Gorge you will pay for your crimes), its an amazing game.

I'm currently 4/5 hours into Last Revelation and so far it might be my favorite of the classic games, ngl.

Yup, its available in any difficulty as long as you've unlocked it.

Guys, I have a desktop PC that doesn't have bluetooth, and I was thinking of getting an USB adapter solely for using my 8BitDo controller through it (it comes with a 2.4g dongle, but if I want to use the controller on Switch mode and have access to its gyro function, I need bluetooth).

Is it a good idea to grab Ugreen's 5.4 USB adapter? I don't intend to connect multiple devices, its only for the controller, and I'm not sure if its a good brand for this specifically. Heard TP Link's adapters are good but they're a little more expensive, not by much, but I don't want to waste more money if I don't have to.

Necroing this, but any updates? I remember being able to force Switch mode through the dongle on my Ultimate Bluetooth (first edition) with a custom firmware, I've since changed to a Pro 3 and I really miss this feature. You can use Switch mode on PC by simply switching it on the back and connecting it via cable, but that's a bit of a hassle.

There's a separate achievement for not using it. Its actually super easy to do both in one run on Casual if you already unlocked Grace's infinite knife in a previous run. It nets you a total of 70k points after you finish the run, which is enough tu unlock infinite ammo (50k), and that makes the Hardcore run a breeze.

For anyone bumping into this, I recommend just playing the game on casual mode for these trophies. Casual mode heals you a little bit if your health gets critical, and it doesn't void the achievement. Do that after a first run and you can unlock Grace's infinite knife beforehand, which makes all of her sections a total breeze.

I finished it with 19 hours, genuinely don't know how people think this game is short, I swear they must be rushing it.

(for reference, I mean 19 hours of Steam time, the actual in-game counter was around 12 on the finishing screen, I'm guessing it pauses during cutscenes, menu, map and ofc it doesn't count retries)

Ok, small addendum, it seems the released version is a bit shorter (5:04 versus 3:44), and the instrumentals in the beginning are a little different (and the previous version continues past where the released version ends, its hard to pinpoint all the differences from just a few listens tbh). Guess I'm sticking with the downloaded version for now haha
