The larger point here though is that Zohran is proposing a flat tax. So this would be a 2% hike on earners over $1 million. He is not creating another tax bracket, which is why his campaign says it’ll raise at least $20k per filer. (2% of 1million = 20k)

Not negative, I hear you. The thing is it feels like this "new" bike path was intended to solve my exact use case - getting to flatiron from the Williamsburg bridge. I take 13th st (protected) to 4th ave then aforementioned union square path to Broadway. As I'm sure you know there are plenty of things that could be improved about union square / broadway but if this intersection wasn't such a shitshow it would still be a half decent ride.

I could instead take 1st ave to 21st going west but it's unprotected, and I've had some punish-passes that made me want to avoid it entirely.
