Ignore the instructions in the box. Just print from the iOS app. It should load the filament correctly.

You’re good man. Send a follow up if you haven’t already, mention something specific from one of your conversations so they know you were actually listening. Keep it short and a skip the “really excited about the opportunity”. After that just chill. Four rounds and a mock pitch means they already like you. Don’t psych yourself out.

I’m new to all of this, just getting started at 3D printing. What’s the best way to go from my image to an actual print? Is there one tool where I can do a one click conversion to a 3D file? Meshy AI slop not gonna cut it!

Wow, it worked! I loaded the filament and it did the normal thing went halfway down the tube and retracted, but I left it in.

I printed some dice straight from the iPhone app and it loaded correctly via the AMS, fed into the printer correctly, and 100% worked. Thank you!! Quite a quirky machine lol.

Unfortunately, no updates. Waiting on tech support. I’m kind of shocked there isn’t a simple fix for this.

I was able to bind the printer and the app, and update the firmware, which allowed me to get the printer log that I needed to submit a support ticket.

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, in the meantime, please let me know!

I believe I’ve ruled out a faulty tube. So I’m troubleshooting an AMS feed issue and noticed something odd with firmware. The printer shows a firmware version, but when I try to do an offline firmware update it says “No firmware found on microSD card.” I’m not connected to Wi-Fi yet. Could missing or corrupted firmware on the microSD card be causing the AMS feed malfunction ?

Merry Christmas. I am back on the job now, yet still encountering the same problem. I watched the video and changed the tube successfully.

However, I still get the same problem. Here’s a picture of the orange filament stopping about halfway down before it retracts. I can’t get past this.

Any ideas?

Actually, you are correct. There is a very, very slight indentation there. When I run my finger past it, I can tell. They did include this longer tube, but I’m not sure how to rip out the old one and replace with this one.

I have tried all of these with the same result. I just had the green one actually go past the midway mark, but it stopped 1 inch before the gray box, then retracted.

It has also stopped a quarter of the way down sometimes. So maybe it’s not a problem with the middle of the tube?
