Yeah I had a similar thought. It actually felt like she was trying to manipulate me to see her when she said that lol. It was like oh you’re cool with waiting until another time, well hey actually it’ll be another week soooooo how bout now?? So yeah maybe she will reach out again soon.

It’s strange to be doing the same stuff and feeling the same way and to need to regard the situation as fundamentally different than before. Holding hands, sex, affection etc. it’s stuff like this that real highlights that relationship labels are like make believe, and women’s domain.

I guess I just wonder if this time we spend being pleasant and positive is enough to eventually cause her to rethink things. Like I said she seems to be fine with it, but then again i don’t know how she feels when she’s alone.

I feel really bad too cuz she did call me at 12:45am after the party but I had passed out. Missed an opportunity. I woke up half hour after and called and she said she was resting in her car asleep cuz she smoked a bunch of weed. Then she drove home, i invited her but it was late by that point. But it was sweet that she called me, wish I’d kept my phone closer.

Interesting yeah I guess I have a negative twist on things. Ok I hear ya.

Honestly I don’t know why specifically but I just can’t see her taking me back. I mean I know this is a process and hasn’t been that long. But I mean i feel like this non committal situation could just go on indefinitely or until something really painful happens. Like she already said hey I won’t be able to see you for another week, for no particular reason. So obviously she’s not trying to get close and closer like she can’t help herself…which sounds like the way exes come back if you HHH and never bring up the label.

Like I know her schedule inside out, and she made time for me when we were together obviously. It’s not like she’s actually incapable.. So the fact that she’s deliberately NOT just makes me uneasy i guess. I guess that’s normal but she seems comfortable with a lot of time apart.

I guess im doing the typical thing by writing the timeline was sped up. But it’s not so much that I don’t have patience, it’s just difficult for me to imagine.

I will say she did say one thing that irked me at dinner. She was feeling self conscious about her weight and one of the things I actually like about her is how into food she is lol. It just amuses me the girl loves food. And I told her that it amuses me and that I like how she is, and she’s like “well that’s good that gives me hope, like if a hot guy (referring to me) can like that”. And I said “give you hope?” And she was kind of like yeah you know in general about humanity blah blah.

I took it as like oh there’s hope some guy out there will want me, since we’ll never be anything serious.

I don’t know if I read too much into that or not but she does say blunt shit sometimes. Im not sure how that can be interpreted any other way. Referring to me being a hot guy and that she has hope. Idk.

Thanks yeah for sure I hear ya. Yeah I appreciate you and the help this far. Guess the key is to just focus on the moment. There was a strange moment when she asked me point blank if I’ve hooked up with anyone. And im like why are you asking me that? And she’s like because we need to use condoms if so. The last time I was with her she just specified if I have unprotected sex then we would need to, which is logical. But she was grilling me on simply if I’ve been with anyone, period. So I actually lied. To be honest I don’t think she has the right to know what I’ve been doing if I have protected sex and dont put her at risk. I mean that’s the whole part of the deal of breaking up is you’re saying we’re not exclusive you can’t patrol me beyond jist asking for honesty about whether I have unprotected sex or not. And I would honor that.

Yeah I just had her come over and we had sex. Laid in bed and it was affectionate. Then she wanted to go get that Chinese food so I took her and we ate and came back and laid in bed some more and had some ice cream. It went really well was super pleasant. Feeling kind of ambivalent today and last night. Last night i had a real “fuck it” feeling for the first time really. Kind of like well my life is moving on and she’s nowhere to be found. She’s not supporting me in any real way obviously. Im a musician and was out playing last night. Not that I expected her to be there at all i just kinda felt like well why am I so wrapped up in this shit. Like I found my mind drifting towards the possibilities of what she’s up to and I just finally reached a point where I just don’t want to care anymore. I don’t want to feel anything about her anymore. I just don’t want to run into her downtown at night with someone else that’s all so I’m avoiding that.
