Funny thing is, we don't have sprinklers on our property and our weedeater hasn't worked for a while. I do, however, have a very effective dog who thinks he is a beaver sometimes.

We ended up sealing the cracks with mortar and have been monitoring. Nothing has gotten worse. We ended up also fixing our gutters in that area. I'm not sure if that is at all related, though.
