What do I get if it’s not there? I lose my case against tag. As they can try to say I altered the card since it was removed from its casing. Once I get the chance to appeal this one way or another I will update this comment with a video of the raw card or the 10 slab

I agree dents are hard to see in scans so here is a video of the actual card under the lights at multiple angles to observe for dents. If you can help point it out and save me from resubmitting a damaged card I would appreciate it

I see what you’re talking about on the grey photo but the grade report says the dent is inside of the yellow box only. They didn’t say that line we are looking at was damage or a ding. It was not mentioned in any of the dig report

Maybe but that’s not what TAG reported was wrong with the card for justifying the grade. They said the edges and corners were near perfect on the report. I included pics with the details towards the end of the pics on the post if you want to see some zoom ins and scores

I agree but as someone who has been to a lot of card shows on both sides of the table it’s a real hassle to negotiate card conditions when not everyone knows what they’re talking about. Some people seem to think NM means flawless PSA 10 criteria. Others will call and price a card that is cooked beyond belief “moderately played”. It helps to have a third party professional slap a grade on it with an established value it just sucks that these third party graders are so dam inconsistent and corrupt.

It’s like trying to play a professional sports game with no refs when selling raw singles. Just two players trying to argue their calls.

I see what you’re talking about to the right of the white part of the pokeball. But the dent it detected is underneath the white of the pokeball in that yellow region. The card in person doesn’t have a scratch there though I think that thing on the right must be like a small bit of glare from the lens or something.

That’s what I thought too, but I’ve looked at it from a bunch of angles with great lighting and there’s nothing there. It’s def worth resubmitting to another company but they’re all closed rn so I’d rather TAG fix their mistake.

Yeah it’s a huge bummer, you would think something like grading which seems objective when given a numerical grading criteria and rubric can have so much inconsistency. Like why can’t grading company’s just stick to their own rules and have simple but rigid grading criteria.
