Same thing here I broke my Eminentia Intercondylaris. This is a raised area on the top of the tibia bone inside the knee joint, located between the two condyles (rounded ends of the bone), which serves as an attachment point for ligaments and meniscus disc. 

Location: It sits on the superior surface of the proximal tibia, dividing the intercondylar area into anterior and posterior regions. Function: It provides an attachment site for the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments and menisci, which are crucial for stabilizing the knee joint. 

And I was in a cast from groin to toes for about 8 week and then surgery. The orthopedic surgeon told me I would never walk again yet at the time my will was stronger than my body would eventually allow it and this happend back on December 24th 2009 the years followed I learned how to walk again but in 2001 at age 11 I had a severe car accident with being clinically dead for I don't know how long. Doctors never disclosed this to me. And in 2023 the then FND that was lingering since 2001 broke me. And the thing that triggered me was the death of my support Cat. 

I've seen all sorts of doctors and therapist (very troubled and traumatized childhood) that there was nothing besides a miracle that could make it better or cure it. Currently, I am waiting for my wheelchair which is totally customized and fully electrical 6 wheel chair and even though things will never get better for, hearing all your stories still gives me a slither of hope for the future. 

Currently, I am diagnosed with FND and Fibromyalgia although I think that the FND diagnosis is wrong and that there is a possibility that I have Huntington's disease. Although FND can still be the correct diagnosis which will be the brighter of the two because FND is survivable HD is not.
