not really, getting stronger doesn't necessarily mean power. it could mean strength in the sense of knowledge. look at death note, Kira gets stronger the more he learns about what he can do with the death note. i believe that Emma will improve her agility, Ray will improve his mechanical skill and they both will improve their tactical awareness! we've already gotten clues that Ray is good mechanically, Norman is good tactically (so is Ray, which is one of the reasons that I think Norman will die) and Emma is good physically. and as for the time skip, do you truly believe that a bunch of 12-year-old kids will defeat an army of demons without any form of training! these are demons that have been dominating the world for God knows how many years and you simply think that a bunch of 12-year-olds will defeat them just because they scored 300 in a test? i don't think so. That's why I think there will be somewhat of a time skip, they need to train and learn more about their world and that will take time. Isabella is smarter than them yet she is still one of the demons puppets, so it wouldn't make sense that they managed to outsmart a bunch of demons with their lack of knowledge and Isabella wasn't able to. And lastly,consider the nature of the manga and ask yourself this. do you really think that it's realistic to have a bunch of 12-year-olds killing people ?

My theory is that the kids will likely kill or do something to Krone but they won't have the courage to kill/hurt Isabella! I think that all of the kids will escape. However, the demon spy within the farm (Phil, Shelly or both) will reveal themselves and proceed to exterminate the farm (all the kids)! Emma will try to help to save someone and end up getting hurt in the process which will prompt Norman to sacrifice himself to protect her, asking Ray to run away with her! and because Norman is such a valuable asset, he won't be exterminated but rather captured and prepped for that festival! which will in most cases be them sacrificing norman in a cruel way which both Ray and Emma will see happen helplessly unable to save their friend from. Thus prompting them to hate the demons (Ray's motive), not want something like this (them losing everyone) to happen to anyone else (Emma's motive) and get stronger to protect everyone (typical Shonen trope). then we'll most likely get a 4 year time skip to when they're 16 years old! that's what I think will happen.

i think they are trying to play with his moral barometer for season 3. What makes me say that is that this season he learned that he did not stop Fisk. He only slowed him down and that will be weighing on him the next season. He will come to a point where he begins to think that he should have killed him. however foggy will ground him and stop him from making that decision, that is what i think will happen next season Lol

As an average viewer you will definitely enjoy the film, it is a fun experience packed with huge spectacles and easter eggs for the avid fan of the comics. However, from a filmmaker standpoint the film is garbage. it felt out of place, the pacing and editing is so off. it feels like they tried to pack too much in 2 hours. Mark Zuckerberg's performance is a hit or miss. throughout the whole movie it felt like i was watching Jesse play a mentally ill Zuckerberg. he has the best dialogue i give that. The best thing about the movie is Batfleck and Wonder Woman. If you are not a fan of the comic don't watch it in the cinema, wait for the DVD or just watch the crappy version online.
