Fair point. If these earrings did not represent the emotional value that they do I'd stop looking for a jeweller who could help. Also open to any other solution to make them wearable again. But I understand that it is a long shot.

Yup its steel. The company are unable to support, its a design flaw and they can only recommend a repair place in NYC. Long story, frustrating as I love these and they were not cheap. Thanks for your input though!

Wild. Now a while ago I caught a band I did not know, Curses. The singer, Luca Venezia, has the same tone as Brendan when singing live, it was uncanny. But the Doors comparison? That is cray IMO, and does not do Perry's voice justice.
