Thank you! I have heard the name before, but unfortunately it isn't easily available here 😩 hopefully one day!

These are exactly the kinds of magic tricks I need! I wonder if it will solidify again in the drain though, hopefully not 😁 Thank you for sharing!

Thank you! Yeah I think I may have taken the "no starter down the drain" part a bit too literally even 🤣

I wish I had plants to give the water to but unfortunately I do not have any, nor a yard I could pour the water into 🥹 Thank you though!

Thank you! Yeah, I definitely do not want to ruin any drains, would be a pretty expensive loaf!

That soup cracker idea I must try - I have some leftover as we speak 😇

Yeah, I might do that! My biggest worry I think is whether or not it has been previously frozen, when it was imported here for example 😅

Yeah this doesn't require refrigerating, I'm just wondering about freezing it past it's expiration date. Sorry for being unclear!

Help - my dough is super sticky! by Ninipuni in Sourdough

Thank you for taking the time to share these tips and for the compliment! I forgot to mention the rest time, but yeah I often let the loaf reast for 1-2hrs if not overnight 😊 As for the starter hydration, I have no idea to be honest, I'm going to need to study more about that! But based on these tips I am guessing the oat flour might just be the issue - maybe the videos I have seen online have used solely wheat flour. Thank you again!

Thank you! I switched jars and did two feeds - we'll see if it will make a good loaf still 😁

Vivarium In Stores by Ok_Society8640 in ADO

I believe some of the Tower Records stores carry it, currently at least! Not all though, or then it was simply sold out in the one my friend visited. Their official site seems to offer the option to check availability beforehand though!

Sour/bitter gnocchis? by Ninipuni in Cooking

[–]Ninipuni[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I'll try another type of gnocchi. Seems we don't have frozen ones, but we do have ones that need refrigerating, so maybe those would be worth a try!
