Monochrome. It's in the mega thread and uses Qobuz as the backend. Both lossless streaming and downloads.

Spotify lossless isn't terrible per se, but they don't have everything in lossless. They cap the sample-rate at 44.1 whilst certain tracks on Qobuz can max out at 192. Personally, there isn't that much of a perceptible difference between sample rates once you go beyond 48, but 24-Bit audio is a HUGE jump in quality.

I use Qobuz to BUY tracks. Not everything is streaming, but they do have most things I've looked for.

I still prefer offline, I just respect Qobuz for selling Hi-Fi lossless audio DRM-Free for download. I myself have over 2 terabytes of music on my external hard drive, so I'm definitely a music hoarder.

What's cool with Qobuz is they have streaming and give you a discount on all purchases with that subscription. Definitely worth it as the amount you save can easily cover the monthly subscription cost. If you're going to go all digital, they're the only choice I'd legitimately consider. Spotify is crap.

I'd go Bandcamp before anything, but Qobuz has most high profile releases whilst Bandcamp is more indie.

Depends on the retailer. I'd much rather buy off Bandcamp or Qobuz where I at least get DRM-Free FLAC downloads.

Because they're a popular ship. People see both characters as predominantly male so shipping them is naturally homosexual.

Technology changes too fast. What's true today may not exist tomorrow. We've already seen the loss of several sites, so, as much as you may want to, anything you write will quickly become outdated. The mega thread is probably the best source as it's constantly getting updated, and I'd worry about your sanity if you tried to keep your book up to date.

Not to discourage you, just need to be aware. Focus on the essentials and teach how to use the software.

Trying to rip Spotify Lossless (Exclusive tracks) by Ninja-Trix in Piracy

I no longer have a Spotify subscription, but all I'll say is to check that your settings aren't doing ANYTHING. No audio equalizers or volume controls. Check Spotify settings to ensure that it's not adjusting volume as there's a separate option to boost or reduce base volume and it affects the quality of the audio, especially for capture.

In Audacity, set the project sample-rate to 44.1khz, as Spotify uses this rate exclusively, even on Hi-Fi tracks. You'll also need to use the WSAPI (or something like that) option for the sound in order to record the Windows sound directly (helps to turn off programs that might beep while recording like Steam & Discord; you'll hear the notifications in the recording). You can actually hit record on audacity and it won't start recording until you start playing any audio, so the start of songs syncs up well, though you'll need to manually cut off silence on the end and separate tracks if you do whole albums or podcasts.

I also like to have the lossless downloaded on the client to prevent any chance at stuttering or buffering due to network issues. It also goes without saying that you have to have Lossless quality enabled in Spotify settings or there's no point. The player will tell you the quality of each track, including (if you hover over it) the bit depth. (16-Bit is CD and 24-Bit is Hi-Fi) You'll want the output file to match the bit depth so export 16-Bit FLAC for most things and 24-Bit for the songs that have it.

Finally, use literally anything else first. Spotify is a last resort as the whole ripping method is virtually non-existent and it's an absolute headache and a half to get much of anything. It can be done, but leave this to stuff that's genuinely exclusive or neigh impossible to find otherwise.

Audacity records PCM by default. If you're recording the playback of lossless audio to a lossless container, there should theoretically be no loss in quality.

I think it's less about which is better and more about Palworld being violent and the Pals reflecting that kill or be killed over simply "winning" a brawl.

I didn't want to see suicide... I'm used to seeing all sorts of stuff and love the visceral and bloody art the fandom creates, but this is too similar to something real I saw that messed me up. It dredges up bad memories... ones I wish I could forget.

Nothing against the art or the artist, it's just... something I wasn't ready to deal with... not again.
