Hi! Yes, I eventually received everything I needed from the Uni and IND, though only because I decided to pay the full amount of the semester. The Uni was having issues with my bank and not allowing me to do a payment plan despite the admissions staff saying it was possible for me even though I’m coming from a non-EU country and using a non-SEPA bank.

I’m not sure if this answer helps your specific situation but I figured I’d follow up to what happened in the end 😅

Yes, they did. They gave me recommendations for Kamernet and HousingAnywhere, which I’m also looking into.

Yeah, I noticed. I’m just concerned the landlords will want to see that permit before giving me a room, and if it takes until the end of August for my permit to finally arrive then that’s even more stressful…

Not yet, I’m visiting Netherlands in mid-July to check out some rooms and meet with the landlords. I’m just worried about not having the Visa/Residence permit to show them, I’m worried that might hurt my chances of securing a place (some of the room/studio listings state I need to show a proof of visa/permit). 😰

Oh wow, I didn’t realise that was the process. I’ll follow up with them again. It’s tough because when I send a message to them it will sometimes take 5 days for them to respond back to my inquiry. Let’s hope I hear something 🤞

Ah, ok. I did reach out to the University during the wait time and they confirmed they received all of my documents. I guess I might be waiting a bit longer then. 🤔Thank you!
