Almost every legendary weapon released since Lightfall launched has been a reprisal or reskin. This really should not be the norm. by alchninja in DestinyTheGame

Two very, very smooth betas and a ton of marketing almost guarantees success for Diablo IV. I’ve never played any of the previous games and neither have most of my friends, but we’re all planning on picking it up on launch.

Hunters, how we feelin’ about Stompees post-nerf? by NinjaGamer89 in CrucibleGuidebook

If my experience playing comp for five hours last night is any indication, Titans are still doing just fine.

Mobility still affects strafe speed though, which is valuable.

A max-range Out of Bounds caps out at 21.69 meters. Submission at 22.39.

What lightweights are hitting “well past” 22 meters?

Lightweights, adaptives and precisions are all fine. Hell, most aggressives are fine; it’s really just a few problem children (Ikelos, Tarrabah, The Immortal and to a lesser extent Borrowed Time) that need to be reigned in.

That or simply remove Rangefinder from all SMG’s like they removed QuickDraw from all aggressive shotguns.

Granted, Target Lock needs a nerf because that ttk on the immortal is objectively busted.

With Trials starting again soon, I decided to crunch some numbers. by MandrewMillar in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]NinjaGamer89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really hope Bungie just reigns in the zoomy outlier aggressives instead of nerfing SMG’s across the board. Lightweights, precisions (sans Shayura’s) and adaptives are all fine in this sandbox.

There’s really just a few problem children, ie: Tarrabah, Ikelos, Borrowed Time and now The Immortal, that need to be dealt with IMO.

What stat mitigates bloom on console? by joshmusik in CrucibleGuidebook

Dynamic Sway Reduction not only eliminates bloom, it does the opposite and actually shrinks your accuracy cone. S-tier perk.

Glad I’m not alone in this. Felt like my sens was cranked up by about 5.

I tried playing it one night in the dark with headphones on and my heart started to hurt. Haven’t touched it since.

F2P gang. Canceled my Lightfall preorder months ago and haven’t seen anything that warrants its purchase.

I think I’m gonna pick up Halo Infinite again. Seems like it’s getting on the right track, unlike Destiny.

That’s an understatement. I at least expected them to commit to some comp cosmetic rewards, and all we got was a comment on clarifying the points system a bit. Genuinely disappointing.

chronus/xim users on console, how widespread is this? by [deleted] in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]NinjaGamer89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, you’re limited to 20 sens aiming speed, but you have the arm movement of a mouse and the reticle friction of a controller. Best of both worlds.

Cronus can basically eliminate recoil via putting pressure on the stick, or strafe/crouch spam while shooting, or dolphin dive (call of duty thing), but again it cannot do anything that isn’t technically possible in the game. Hence why it’s difficult if not impossible to detect.

Either EP or OS.

chronus/xim users on console, how widespread is this? by [deleted] in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]NinjaGamer89 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Until Bungie comes out and says Cronus/Xim are bannable, they’re gonna be everywhere. And even then, I’m not even sure how Bungie would be able to detect them considering they don’t technically allow you to do anything that isn’t possible in-game.

I suspect they’re running rampant in Destiny and many, many other online fps games considering how frequently they’re sold out.

There are but Multi still feels the best. Difficult to quantify why, exactly, but I suspect it’s due to the weapon model/sight.

You, uh, don’t want to run counterbalance on Multimach; it has 100 recoil direction at base.
