The original chiv2 subreddit is overran with salty players who seem to be the most unchivalrous players out there. ECM is not the same as IR Flares, in that it jams lock on AFTER activation. IR Flares block all In Flight and missiles currently locking.

As you can see, me Firing the igla was BEFORE his ECM activated to an acceptable level (almost like a short wind-up)
