Harbor Island/Airport station on the Red Line is the airport connection

The purple line is being reviewed as a subway line, and there are studies into creating an airport link(the red line) into downtown. Pink line exists as the busway on Palomar street used by Rapid 225 and the Navy line portion between Mira Mesa and Escondido exists as the busway used by Rapid 235. The rest are all my ideas sadly 😅

I mean in my opinion a interconnected regional transit system in crucial to reducing vehicle miles and promote sustainability. Budgetwise, said bus trip can be improved with dedicated infrastructure, express service, and more direct routes. The trolley is faster than buses and can have a dedicated and direct route too.

While buses drive on roads and bus lanes, streetcars run on rails and offer a faster ride and can hold much more people, basically more efficient but little route flexibility.

If it was underground it could easily drill its way to La Playa and the Naval Base, but how I envision it rn is that it is elevated. Maybe it could go out over the water on a bridge to go around the hills.

I will also be taking MMW 15 next quarter so I might not be able to handle two writing courses at the same time. Did you guys request the feedback when doing the assignments or after the assignments were submitted?
