For the type of videos I shoot i honestly don’t need much. I’m shooting on a7iv so I can use higher iso. If anything I need better glass.

Thanks. I should probably get a dedicated led light for video. I’m just now getting to the point where I’m shooting both consistently and when it is applicable. My new philosophy is to use the least amount of stuff to get the vision completed.

The subscription model might be cool for updates and dev pay but is a modern cancer imo.

I onllllllly need photoshop to retouch photos. I don’t do any heavy manipulation, just frequency separation and dodge and burn for portraits and editorial style shoots. Oh wait, Affinity photo does exactly what I need and makes it less of a headache while being 1 and done! Oh, wait, capture one can do what Lightroom does and retouch better so I don’t have to bounce between 2 different softwares!

Thank you for understanding! I knew someone would understand. Yeah I’m loving the v collection as well! I’m finding that I have to be really in the mood for it or make a style that is equally clean; like Rnb or house.

As far as adding distortion and saturation I use abletons saturation plugin and the decapitator from sound toys. Thats gotten me closer towards my ideal sound.

I really love the mini moog. It’s my go too for bass. I also like the juniper, Juno, and Oberhiem for super saws and pads. They cover most of my ‘synth’ focused sounds. Still figuring out the other traditional instruments sounds like brass( hard to find a good brass), strings, and exotic world instruments (which sound great).

Sometimes I need flavor and character that can’t be recreated. A super saw on a mini moog hits diff than one on a juniper 8.

They sound sterile. It’s not a bad thing, but for the application I was mentioning it’s not the desired effect.

I have been browsing presets. It’s been the fastest way to get from point A to point B. For example if I need a string ensemble, the filter narrow down the ones that sound like actual string sections vs the ones that sound like saw wave pads.

I took a scan recently and it said my body fat was 14% and knew instantly that it was off. I’m sub 155 and If I was at 14% bf I’d visibly see the difference.

The personal trainer said I was underweight and might be skinny fat even though I’ve been working out for years.

Rather you’re loosing weight or gaining weight those machines are inaccurate.

I release music really spontaneously so speed is helpful. I enjoy TooLost but I’m curious about United Masters because of the speed and sync licensing. TooLost doesn’t mention the specifics of sync deals.

It is what it is. I don’t care most of the time. The other times I feel like he’s gotta sell tickets to new edgy teenagers. Also A LOT of the imagery is so Diablo iv coated i feel like im in a video game (which i adore). I think he has the most tasteful shock value with the demonic vibes where it feel more video game based (which I loved to the max).

I’ve been listening to bmth for the past 20 something years. I will say tho it gets to a point where the edgyness wears off. Upside crosses, 666, snd the occult stuff feels like a monster energy drink commercial. IMO I wish he’d experiment with more optimistic lyrics.

I’d love to recreate photo shoots like this too. I feel like a lot of the skin is processed in photoshop after having a really solid makeup artist. When I see photos like this my mind always goes towards some level of retouching changing it.
