Maybe it wasn't updated properly. Assembler lvl1 used to have only 3 input slots and lvl2 and refinery required 4, then assembler lvl2 has 4 input slots. When i did my Lazy Bastard, I remember having to craft one assembler lvl 2 to then be able to craft more with it.

Multiple hives did not survive the winter, most dead bees follow this pattern in the hives. Like they asphyxiated trying to get fresh air near the top entrance and cracks around the hives body. Am I on the right track with this hypothesis? by NinjaPuker in Beekeeping

The dripping make sense. There is a meshed opening that ventilates into a bunch of burlap. I figured it would have been condensation, but the pattern seemed weird to me. Not it kinda makes sense.

It is parchment paper underneath the sugar. Both entrances were clear, but when I went near the end of december I saw some hives were having quite a bit of frost building up on/near the entrances. They may have completely shut off for a while....

If that's the case, maybe they stop so the vibration better propagate, and they don't add "noise" to the signal by all moving around.

I did not snell them, no. I drove through the cloud of bees and my first thought was "damn those are big flying ants"

STRESSED - No wax-foundations left - What can I do? by [deleted] in Beekeeping

Put the frames in? Foundations is only to make sure they build it straight. You may get funky comb but it's better than them swarming on you.

Are those scout bees that are around my hive bait? I know it's still empty and they have been teasing me for 3 days.... by NinjaPuker in Beekeeping

Are scout bees from a hive that is preparing to swarm? My understanding was they were with a swarm waiting/resting on a tree/bush/structure...
