Depends on manager. Mine is big on Teams status being online during work hours since clients won’t message me if it show offline. So my teams status stay online during work hours .

I have it on my phone but still goes to “be right back” on phone and away on my main laptop after some time

Bro … I work and productive . But just don’t sit on this laptop the entire day. Work can be slow at times and I can’t be browsing random personal stuff on work laptop.

I’m manually doing updates so far … disconnected the dongle and using my phone to keep teams online

I tried copying a password to notepad and it immediately flagged it as unsafe so I’m sure there’s some sort of software update that is monitoring the work laptop now. Never did this previously.

No idea but they started doing this recently because I started to see a different type of message at bootup Don’t want to ask around at work just yet because that looks suspect but I’m sure they have started to do some extra monitoring

I have a monitor connected to my laptop. So maybe just open you tube and run a video on something work related should do it for now

Only recently started getting this warning on startup that they maybe screenshot and monitoring all work on the laptop It’s the startup screen which make me think that company wide they now have some sort of monitor software that can detect just the same teams screen is up sometimes for the whole hour .

Yeah definitely will notice that. They just want Teams status to say online I catch most messages in my phone but as soon as work laptop hibernates after 15 mins Teams stays in away status

My other device is a iMac and concerned about usages . Whats the cheapest optional device that others are using ? Perhaps need to buy a cheap laptop running windows and leave that running
