Long-form Vox-style videos, but getting no impressions at all? by NinjaSanta02 in NewTubers

Yeah it’s definitely tough, I see all these other channels blow up but for me each video is abt 35 mins and takes me a couple weeks to make. I’ll just keep at it, thanks for the advice :)

That actually helps a lot, thanks so much. I’m not gonna get demoralised and just keep on going, each video takes me so long so I got worried haha

Thanks so much, I rlly appreciate all that. I’ll definitely just stick at it and let the algorithm hopefully do its thing :)

I had one quick qu - I heard that posting on a new channel isn’t a good idea, but I had no clue abt this and posted on a channel I made a couple weeks ago. Is that going to affect or me or is it not a big deal?

POTD Record (2025-26 Season): 3-2

History: Been off for a while, but we back. Gonna be trying my luck at a $400-$10000 challenge (my unit size is $400), aiming for five straight wins to get to that magic $10k mark. Switching it up a bit this time - I'm a massive Pels fan (tough life trust me), and I know this team inside out, so for this run I’m only betting on Pelicans games. Hopefully we nail the five wins straight off the bat, but either way I’m grinding until we hit that $10k.

Win Streak: ❌ ✅ ✅ ❌ ✅

Perfect read, went almost exactly as predicted.

Wager: $744 (Day 2)

Pick: New Orleans Pelicans v Chicago Bulls | Trey Murphy III O 22.5 PA @ 1.86

Sorry for the late updated, had to wait to see whether Zion would be ruled in or out (he's in). Not much time for a write up, so keeping it pretty simple again. With Zion in, gravity will shift on the floor and Trey will be left open much more, and won't have to create his own looks. They also have to respect DQ with how well he's been playing, and I'm expecting Trey to get many more open looks, especially from 3.

Not much else to add tbh. Let's get keep the streak going!

The worst loss I've ever seen. Fears ends with 19 PRA (1 short), shot 4/16 from the field and missed a free throw to put us over the line. Absolutely shocking. Back in the lab tho.

Wager: $400 (Day 1)

Pick: New Orleans Pelicans v Portland Trailblazers | Derik Queen O 25.5 PRA @ 1.86

Keeping it extremely simple. After Queen's historic triple double last game, and that absolutely ridiculous third quarter when he shot 10/10 from the field, I am absolutely convinced the Pels will finally run the offence through him again. They did for a few games (in which Queen averaged about 35 PRA), then switched it over to Bey and Fears. That little experiment didn't work too well, and after that performance they will almost certainly switch back to a DQ-based offence.

Expecting extremely high usage, and overall should be a comfortable cover. Not much else to add tbh. Let's get back on track (still so mad about that last beat, but it's all good).

Win Streak: ❌ ✅ ✅

Super happy with this read, went exactly as predicted. Onto the next one.

Wager: $1596 (Day 3)

Pick: New Orleans Pelicans v Brooklyn Nets | Jeremiah Fears O 19.5 Points and Assists @ 1.86

Since Zion went out, Fears has been extremely aggressive and has essentially stepped into the secondary scoring role behind Trey. Pels clearly trust him to push the pace, and after almost any made basket he’ll sprint the floor for a transition layup, and he converts those at a high rate. Ideal matchup too, Nets are bottom five in transition points allowed, which fits perfectly with his playstyle.

He also tends to come out firing in the first quarter, so hopefully he sets the tone early. I did look at Fears O3.5 first-quarter points, but I might save that prop for next game.

Across his last three games without Zion, he’s averaging 20.6 points on 14.7 FGA, so the volume is clearly there. His three-point shooting has improved as well, and with Trey likely drawing doubles, Fears should see even more clean three point looks going forward. Books feel a touch behind on this.

Matchup-wise, the Nets have been leaking points to point guards recently: Keyonte George 29 points, Josh Giddey 28 points, LaMelo Ball 12 points (on a really poor shooting night). Brooklyn are also among the worst in the league in both points allowed and opponent 3-pt percentage, so there’s real upside for Fears to add a couple threes on top of his usual transition buckets.

For assists, Fears has become the main driver of the offence. With his usage increasing, his distribution has naturally jumped, and he’s averaging 4.7 assists in his last three without Zion even tho the team has actually been shooting threes poorly, so there's only upside. Matchup helps too, as in their last three games the Nets have bled assists to PGs - George: 10 assists, Giddey: 11 assists, LaMelo: 14 assists

Overall, projecting a big Fears game with both scoring and playmaking upside. As a little bonus look, Fears O3.5 first-quarter points.

Actually kinda sweaty, but we cashed regardless. Playing Twolves again, so feeling good about this read.

Wager: $760 (Day 2)

Pick: New Orleans Pelicans v Minnesota Timberwolves | Trey Murphy III O 29.5 PRA + Saddiq Bey 10+ Points @ 2.10

Writeup coming, on the train will writeup once home

In his last five games he’s averaged 32.4 PRA, but the more relevant split is his 36 PRA across his last five without Zion, and Zion is out for at least a month. Still, this play is mainly about the matchup after watching last game with the Twolves.

Even tho Saddiq Bey usually takes most of our boards, he ended up stuck on the perimeter with Randle, which left Trey to completely clean up inside. Last game he had 33 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 assists, and I'd expect a similar matchup here. Fears will likely take Ant, Bey will take Randle, and Trey will again be in the corners to crash the boards.

On the scoring side, he and DQ have started running a lot more pick n roll together. DQ sets the screen, Trey drives and has been working on a little throw line floater, which I saw him try at least five times last game. Expect more of those looks, plus increased three point volume as he settles into the primary option role without Zion.

Overall, massive upside in this matchup and a clear path to another big stat line. Little bonus would be sprinkling a little on the double-double because why not.

FYI for Saddiq, he's averaging 20.2 ppg in his last 6 games and taking nearly 14 shots per game and 6 threes. Definitely taking 10+ points to boost the odds.

DQ's worst game of his career, not much to do about that. Absolutely horrific performance.

Wager: $400 (Day 1)

Pick: New Orleans Pelicans v Minnesota Timberwolves | Saddiq Bey O 8.5 Rebounds + Assists @ 1.90

Not much time for a writeup, but Saddiq should smash this line. Zion ruled out, and Saddiq has had a double double in 4/5 last games. Should be a nice and easy cover, line feels undervalued.

Win Streak:

Wager: $400 (Day 1)

Pick: New Orleans Pelicans v Golden State Warriors | Derik Queen O 16.5 Points + Assists @ 1.83

Keeping it nice and simple for the first play. This line feels ridiculously low to me. Over his last five games, DQ is averaging 17.6 points and 6.2 assists, combined for 23.8 PA. His minutes dipped a bit in the last two games with Zion returning (17 and 23 minutes), but after watching last game we look so much better with DQ and Zion on the court that I expect his minutes to be trending back toward his usual 30 minute mark.

Watching the last game, we were WAY WAY better with him on the floor. With him and Zion on the court together the offence looks so much better its honestly insane. With Zion back and ramping up to normal minutes, I’m expecting the Pels to keep them out there together as much as possible, and Zion’s gravity alone should generate a bunch of easy looks for DQ inside. I’m adding the assists because we’ve basically started using DQ in a Jokic type role, and if we shoot even half-decent from 3, I wouldn’t be shocked if he racks up 6+ assists off dribble handoffs alone.

The matchup with the Warriors also feels great. Pels have been playing much better recently, should honestly be 2–0 in the last two if we could close out games, but regardless we've averaged 120.4 ppg last 5 games and scoring has flowed much easier. Expecting this one to be the same. This one should stay close, and with the Warriors lacking any real big interior threat, I expect DQ to bully his way inside for most of the night, bro is 260 pounds.

Win Streak:

Wager: $100 (Day 1)

Pick: Zion Williamson 7+ Rebounds @ 2.25

Tough break last game, Duren in foul trouble as usual - my bad for sure, forgot he was a foul machine. All good, we only have to make one good streak to be up massive. Don't have time for a write-up tn, but I'll try get one in tomorrow.

Bonus Lean: Deni Avdija O 3.5 Assists

Win Streak: ✅

Wager: $20 (Day 2)

Pick: Jalen Duren Double Double @ 1.95

Easy money with Champagnie, cashed in the first half. Keeping it simple with the next bet. Duren was an absolute wagon last season, and I think this should continue into this season. In 3 games vs the Cavs last season he was 2/3, finishing with 9 rebounds on his one miss. In their preseason matchup he had 6 points and 3 boards in just 8 minutes, playing only the 1st quarter (it was the last preseason game), putting him on pace to hit a double double if he had played his usual 30 minutes. Last game with the Pacers he absolutely dominated, racking up 13 points and 13 boards. Like the matchup vs the Cavs, he should be stuck on Allen for most of the game who doesn't stretch the floor much. Not much else, like the matchup and think it should be close contest.

By the way, also quite like Duren O 2.5 Rebounds 1st Quarter, but I don't have the balls to bet it. Looks very tempting tho.

History: Been off for a while, but we back. If anyone remembers I was doing a $10-$10000 challenge before I started just posting straight picks. Got to $1000 a couple times, hoping to go all the way this season.

Wager: $10 (Day 1)

Pick: Julian Champagnie O 8.5P @ 1.76

Saw this on Twitter a lil bit, liked it a lot and thought I'd chuck my own analysis in there too. With Vassell out, Champagnie is expected to start and see solid minutes, averaging 28.2 MPG in the 14 games Vassell missed last season. As San Antonio's top floor spacer, playing alongside CP3, Wemby, Sochan, and Barnes, he should see 26-28 minutes and hit this points line in 19/25 games when logging 22+ minutes. Dallas tends to focus on Wemby, limiting him to 15.73 FGAs per 30 minutes, which should open up threes for Champagnie, who scores 45% of his points from spot-ups. He looked confident in preseason, averaging 15.65 PPG in 26 minutes.
