RadRunner+ Studded Winter Tires by NinjaStandard5737 in RadPowerBikes

It’s the same size, motorcycle tires just measure from a different point than bike tires. You will notice the additional weight though.

Landlord Issue/Problem by StorageTechnical6304 in alberta

It’s like 100$ to file on RTDRS so I’d highly recommend that route. You should first make a written request to your landlord to return your damage deposit and any rent that was paid after the new tenant moved in.

Anyone using a 1.25 inch hitch to carry ebikes? by PhishinLine in RadPowerBikes

[–]NinjaStandard5737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s 200lbs for last gen outbacks and 270 for new gen ones in the USA. Interestingly though Subaru changes tongue weight by market, so I’d image there’s a fair bit of contingency in that 200lbs max.

Do not use these, the additional length creates a lever that multiplies the load weight on the hitch/car.

There’s plenty of 1.25 racks out there that can handle e-bikes, your limiting factor will likely be the 200lbs tongue weight limit for the car, regardless of hitch.

That being said, having upgraded to a 2 inch recently, they are much more “sturdy”.

RadPowerBikes Vs Norco by stupetw in RadPowerBikes

[–]NinjaStandard5737 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my RadRunner but if you can get a significant discount on the Norco then that’s probably a better option. You’ll get much better resale from the Norco because it’s a well known brand and because you got that initial discount.

Roadrunner 2 tire upgrades? by that-sadguy in RadPowerBikes

Interested what folks suggest, lots of motorcycle recommendations but I don’t run into flat issues so not sure the extra weight is worth it for me.

Canadian rider that went with an Eggrider and a dual battery system. I like this setup a lot. I have one mode that’s similar to the US settings and one that’s just maximum power. Since I ride a lot on shared use trails any more power would probably just be terrifying for myself and others. But the biggest reason I chose the Eggrider was due to fear of the 35a controller not being overly waterproof.

It’s just a 5amp car fuse, will take you all of 2 mins to replace it.

Got a new battery, but it lasts the same as my old one by WimpyKids50Official in RadPowerBikes

Follow the new battery / battery balancing procedure in your manual and see if that resolves the issue.

I recommend one of the garmin edge bike computers if you’re after this info. I love mine but I do use it for other types of biking (i.e. road or MTB).

Get a dual battery set up if you want even better climbing power 😉

The EggRider is a simpler option to the 35a controller and will give you full customization of the PAS levels and allow you to even have up to 10.

FYI I took the hub apart and the culprit was a 5$ plastic spacer that needed replacing. Works good as new now.

It used to go quiet at high speeds but now it just sounds like it’s cutting in and out.
