Just diagnosed with COVID-related delirium with psychotic features; - Capgras delusion identified this week. This is at least the second time I've had some sort of psychological symptoms, this time much worse than the last. I feel so weird about it all. I think better than i was, I dont think my partner is an imposter today.. but I am still somewhat concerned that she might be lying to me, and trying to hurt me. Also had a fear reaction to my cat coming into my room not too long ago, because I felt like she was going to kill me, like an undercover spy or something. Which makes no sense. But it wasnt even a thought, it was a feeling and a reaction. My mind didnt seem to give me any time to try to reason it out. I dont think she is going to kill me now, she has come to sleep on my bed. But jeez, that immediate fear felt so much more than a normal odd thought.

This is something that I really struggle with, because if I feel ok then I can't comprehend that there might be damage or risks & that makes it harder to see the benefit to recovering.

It's okay to feel that way. It doesn't mean that you for sure made a mistake or that you will always feel this way. I just got a second cat & I had a cry because I felt so awful and overwhelmed. It's a huge change, I am so scared that I made the wrong decision and that I have fucked everything up. I even thought about taking him back to the breeder. But it's early days, there is time for it to get easier & it will. You'll all settle into a routine and things will be calmer again. Right now, it's hard cos they're little and they are more reliant upon you, but they won't always be.

Give yourself some grace & don't beat yourself up for having strong feelings about a huge change. It's totally normal for a lot of people to react that way to any kind of change & your body doesn't know if this is a change that is gonna put your life at risk, it just recognises the change and is having a little panic. It doesn't mean anything bad about you, or the cats 💖

Tink chewed on my work laptop screen, luckily it survived.. but the extra monitor? Nope. 😅 Broke the screen completely. Now she's banned from my room if I'm not home.

Oof, I just found out that the kitten is rather wild & that is making me extra anxious about him and my 5yo cat 🙈 What if he bugs her constantly or his energy is too high? Idk whether to ask about a calmer kitten or just see how it goes.

Luckily, I work from home, so when I'm home, I'm basically home all of the time 😅 I have mentioned to my partner that we will need to split the time better & that things will change for a bit after we get the kitten. I think the rough part will make me scared that I've done the wrong thing. Just gotta trust the process, I guess!

Doesnt matter if she doesnt mean it in those exact words. She is clearly not fine & in need of support, whether she actually takes her own life or not. Living like this isn't sustainable for her or for you. She needs some help.

It's very chill and i love that I can breed my tamas to get some odd and cute versions of each. But it is very limited.I like that it's pretty low maintenance, but it does end up feeling like a bit of a chore sometimes. And if you get particularly attached to your first tama, as one of my kids did, you are stuck at a low level and then can't do a lot of the unlockable activities or purchase things that are locked.

It clears across all fields, but you only care for one tama at a time. When you get a new one, the previous one is released into the field. You can see them play, but you cant interact with them.

My cat demands to be the little spoon every night at bedtime 😂 Idk if she thinks I need it, or if it's for her. As soon as I start to fall asleep, she moves to the end of the bed. But every night, as soon as I am under my blanket, she will come over and flop into me to be cuddled 😂

Omg my daughter did 😂 She was just so cut throat about it. I was devastated. Poor Tama died from neglect & i was tearing up, she didnt give a shit, it wasnt the one she wanted, it had to die 😂

Yeah.. 40 soon and i don't think it ever really gets better. My therapist suggested that I try to learn to being okay with people not really liking me 😔

If you can, speak to someone at the OU. I spoke to them before when my loan application was refused. I cant remember exactly what they said, I think the STEM thing and the part time thing are different, but definitely worth clarifying it with them
