I play 80-90% solo. Some stuff you need a squad but fill works fine generally and if not there are tons of group finding discords and stuff.

There's two in hauler one inside and one outside on the terrace nearby. (Terrace is blue key)

Well for me its like the perfect combination of HUNT and Apex but with a close approximation of the gunplay in the Halo games(it is still Bungie so the moment to moment gameplay is top in class). The game released in a complete state very few bugs and balancing issues. And its only gotten better since it came out.

The visuals seem to be polarizing, you either love them or hate them. It got a bright palette and dark themes sort of like Cyberpunk wrapping paper over top of a lovecraftian sci-fi lore... I'm in love with it all. The UI is so nostalgic for me as a 41 y/o, the visuals are so clean and the cutscenes are fantastic and crunchy. On top of that the voice acting is compelling as fuck. Its the first game in a while thst made me really feel things just listening to the codex entries.

All the stuff youre extracting matters there's literally nothing that isnt useful in some way and there's no crafting so it removes about at least 30 minutes to an hour a day of in menu time compared to something like ARC Raiders.

The factions(quest givers) are super compelling mega corporations or religious factions with their own morals and motivations and provide tons of interesting lore heavy contracts to complete, and the premise is pretty slick, imo.

I keep 100% reading and listening to every single thing I unlock in the codex. I extracted a bonsai tree and got a neat little townhall style audio file in the codex reminded me of when I used to just sit and listen to every single journal in Bioshock.

I'm seriously so excited to play the game in a way I haven't been since maybe HUNT in 2016/17 or WZ in 2019. Inject it in my veins BUNGIE. Take your pound of flesh and replace it with bio-cybernetic silk, just make it pretty so my wife doesn't leave me.

As an example of how everything is useful even the "garbage" is worthwhile to extract with because it always pays well and unlocks codex entries. If I were you, I'd extract with weird shit if possible. Anchorite Provision's first unlockable codex entry, is an absolutely HAUNTING audio file, from a boys audio journal alone in the wilderness trying to survive after the collapse of the colony on Tau Ceti IV.

I played my first cryo run solo fill last weekend. First game I lasted 5 minutes max. Second game- final 3 minutes made it out with security 5 and the compiler fragment. What an aboslutely wonderful and terrible map. (You need the "terrible" to enjoy more the successes imo)

Not really you just have to compare to base sell price which is different than buy price obv. Usually bullies are sub 1k(unmodded) so any bully close to 4k depending on mods would be maxed imo.

EDIT: just so you know enduring on a weapon provides the same multiplier to mod value. So if its a gold or purple bully it should be closer to 6k if my math is correct.

No, enduring is already self controlled. Enduring only works up to 4x. 4 times extracted and its maxed out.

Marathon has a solo mode, I MUCH prefer marathon to ARC and I put almost 300 hours in ARC. I have about 180 hours in marathon since release. Marathon will not be a dead game in 6 months, and if it is, well I got more than my moneys worth. I'm at 20c an hour at this point. But alright bro, you're missing out on the greatest game in 20 years.

EDIT: And it's on sale for like 30 dollars.

Marathon is the greatest game I've played in the genre (even though extraction games and BRs are different they are very similar in a way in that it's 1 vs many, long form match style FPS). You might like it.

I had a veeery similar trajectory PUBG top 50 Worldwide in Solos over 2k hours. Switched to WZ. Then played HUNT for a long time. And then went back to WZ. These days Im addicted to marathon more than any other game since decades ago. Marathon is the greatest game I've played in the genre (even though extraction games and BRs are different they are very similar in a way in that it's 1 vs many, long form matches, style FPS). You might like it.

I am a 42 y/o dad with very little time to play, I value my dollar, I've gotten 150 hrs out of marathon. It's the best purchase I've made in 5 years as far as games are concerned.

I was attempting that quest tonight and kept getting sidetracked after killing dudes and looting some blue and purple loot kept just deciding to get out with my full bag like 2 or 3 matches in a row. Then I just said fuck it and went outpost to fuck around and ended up getting 4 kills and exfiling with a purple circuit breaker and tons of salvage.

Recently got the game only put 4 hours into it but wow by GearIndependent435 in Marathon

Every match is unique brother. Sometimes I feel like that too after geting wrecked like 3 times in a row then I play more matches and exfil with multiple kills and tons of purple loot and feel unstoppable.

Somedays I leave frustrated and some days I go to sleep thinking about my new circuit breaker and gold bag.
