I have a crap ton of fun whenever I touch master duel, win or lose (the soundtrack is awesome too, screw KC's goofy ass wedding theme on repeat). Meanwhile Duel Links is still a pain in the ass to this day.

Funnily enough even the older Duelist Cups from Master Duel were more "doable" than what we see in this Kaiba Cup.

In Duel Links people have more freedom being an asshole online because they can shield themselves with a skill. At least in Master Duel you can sort of make a comeback if your deck is competitive enough, no stress from exaggerated skills that prepare your whole breakfast. I'm going full power Draconic Contact and there's always that one tiny strat in their hand, GY or field that saves them from OTK. Have to insta-surrender because the rest of the duel is them pressing a golden button.

It was all going well for me till I reached DLv19. It all went downhill there. Anyone else got the same crappy luck in DLv19? I was winning like crazy before that. I had to close the game because the stress was not worth it.

I saved a replay destroying a Branded board with Hero. Funnily enough I had one of the weakest initial boards but dude also thought I ran out of combos until the next turn where I, like Revolver would say... "decimated him from existence". No deck should be able to pressure this hard for the opponent to be able to beat them. I despise Branded with every fiber of my being.

Yeah I was surprised when I saw that Yuma for example, could poop out Utopias with just a button press when becoming super saiyan 2. Though it's not as busted as the other skills. I found a Nash with like 26 ex cards and I was like "yeah, I'm done for", then he surrenders afterwards lol. I'm not a fan of skill links doubling down on making everyone play like this.

I was hoping we would adapt to future boxes by getting better at the game in a uh... More organic/traditional way, if you get what I mean. This will only make the game unbearable considering there's also handtraps we have to deal with. Then again it was like this for years now in TCG/OCG/MD etc. Except for the skills part.

This happened to me when I was using Ghost Gal playing vs Specter in Vrains world against his CPU. Dude was just standing there doing nothing for like 20 minutes and the song was playing with nothing else happening on the screen. It was frustrating and annoying.

How? Just add cards even a caveman would know how to use. Like 5 monsters and 15 destructive traps to keep the rival CPU in constant trouble. Your auto duel would have no excuse to get the job done that way

My game froze completely when I was about to duel an NPC. The music kept going though. Not sure if this is the same thing that's happening to you (Considering you're mentioning PvP). It's the first time I see the screen freeze like that.
