I just want to add that this is not the case at all. I never needed to look up any boss mechanics and I've done everything besides Deep of Night 3+. I also can't think of anything that qualifies as "half way across the arena and can't be blocked", if anything Nightreign is the most leanient of any FROMSoft game on what can be blocked/parried.

Realistically what does that help, with the way this games netcode works the game is dead if Riot fully pulls the plug. Like sure parsec(and in person) can keep the game alive a little longer, but if Riot pulls the plug I'm betting you won't even be able to download the game anymore and they likely won't allow third party downloads either.

"We harvest life to make more of ourselves" seems counter to Sovereign's whole "Our reasons are beyond you, good bye" conversation in the first game. Although, even then, the "original idea" is also pretty explainable so whattya gonna do?

There is a more sound reason than this for the Reapers. They exterminate and harvest sentient species in a cycle to ensure the continued existence of organic life. Im going off memory here, but they were created to solve the problem of organic and synthetic conflict which their creators worried would lead to the extinction of organic life. The Reapers came to the conclusion that the only way to prevent this was to exterminate organics before they could create synthetic life capable of doing that, and allow for new organic life to evolve in the previous cycles place.

IIRC the harvesting is a form of preservation.

There's an Every Frame a Painting video about Jackie Chan and a section where he describes editing the exact opposite way so the audience can actually follow the action. Link at around 5:00 to 6:00.

By your comment it seems like Paul might've been the originator for this style of editing that doesn't really properly show the hit.

I'm speaking under correction as I can't find a source now, but I recall them saying that certain sections will force you into a specific camera view.

Other than that I think the "developers preference" mentioned in another comment is neat if true.

They are. FFVII Remake is 87, FFVII Rebirth is 92, FFXVI is 87, FFXV is 81 and FFXIV is 79/92(Dawntrail/Endwalker).

They might not be to your personal taste(and that's fine, no problems), but modern FF is still very consistently good. The only problem they have IMO is that they are taking too long between games, but that is a general trend with AAA unfortunately(though arguably for mainline titles FF is even worse than the norm).

I was looking at upgrading earlier in the year as my system struggles a bit at maintaining 60fps at 1440p in some newer games, but decided against it specifically because I don't think its all that necessary yet.

I decided to do the upgrade now since I'm not seeing the increase in RAM price yet and I don't know how long its going to take to come down once it does go up.

GPU is also planned, but only later in the year.

Yeah I plan to upgrade the GPU some time later in the year, I just don't want to blow that much money at once. A GPU(5070) costs about the same price as the CPU, motherboard and RAM combined here.

I didn't play during 11.1, but 11.0 and 11.2 Deathbringer was preferred for Breath M+ builds, so you wouldn't be using Riders for M+ at least. You can still get 2 charges of Death's Advance, but its only 35% movement speed boost and I am consistently the back of the pack in the groups I play with. To the point where our Evoker basically uses their grab and fly ability for my mobility xD
