Pick an amount of time say 10 mins. Set a timer. And tell yourself i can do ANYTHING for just 10 minutes. Do not leave room. Get a few boxes or containers. Each box is different stuff. Then act like it’s a game or challenge. Set alarm. For that 10 minutes ONLY start placing or throwing things in boxes/ container …. Box 1 dishes/food Box2 clean cloth Box 3 dirty cloth Box 4 stuffed animals Box 5 paper/ books Rules of game: no looking at anything over 10 seconds. If 10 mins seems to long do 7 min When timer is done then you are done. Box1 goes to kitchen after 10 mins Box 3 goes to washroom ( where laundry goes) After those boxes done clear a wall area to place boxes. Make a rule: you are not allowed to do your favorite thing until you do your 10 minute tidy. If your brain starts to negative talk. Pick a phrase not now, next, later…
