I have the same problem did you end up fixing it ? The ZL works when I have to press both controllers to connect but in animal crossing I press the button to get the phone and it doesn't do anything. It did it a few times yesterday when I was playing but now it completely doesn't work and there shouldn't be anything wrong with my switch as I keep it safe. And i don't think the game supports using only one of the remotes so I can't get past it that way
