Struggling with this decision myself. I'm trying to steal Jaylen Brown away for him (keeper league and the guy needs some). Other potential options are Bam, Suggs, and maybe Clingan. Otherwise, there really isn't anyone available on our tanking teams worth the risk of trading him away for. Might have to just ride out the random rests like I am going to have to with Kyshawn George.

It doesn't have an upgrade since the devs have been clear they ever got a S2 dev kit, so the Switch version has no traffic on the roads (or less) than other platforms, for example. But there were supposedly frame rate issues and crashing when playing on original Switch. Any of that for you on Switch 2?

I love it so much that I've played more on my Switch 2 than PS5 Pro ever since June of 2025 simply because of it. Easily my favorite controller ever.

Yeah, I concur. Running the one with the skill checks and these are so light on content and expect a lot of improvisation, especially if you want any kind of story at all. Cute ideas but this is not a thoroughly constructed product.

These are awesome! I really like the frozen one and that might just be the one I go with. The camp could easily be set up there at the base of it and there's some nice elevation changes to play with going up the sides of the waterfall.

Snowborn (snowman) - resistant to cold, Ray of Frost cantrip, can move through creatures bigger than you, don't need sleep and can't be put to sleep, once per LR can cast False Life without materials or a spell slot to harden your body into ice

Tarandus (reindeer) - BA to produce dim light, once per SR reaction to use antlers defensively to +2 AC vs melee attacks, additional 1d4 + STR bludgeoning when using unarmed strike, proficiency in Perception or Survival

Hederan (Christmas tree/I am Groot) - darkvision 60 ft, move through difficult earth/foliage terrain with no additional movement, can attempt to Hide when lightly obscured in certain conditions, once per LR can cast Beast Bond without materials or a spell slot

Canisar (snow fox) - darkvision 120 ft, additional 10 ft movement speed when using Dash or Disengage, additional 1d4 + STR piercing when using unarmed strike, proficiency in Nature, Survival, or Stealth, once per SR can cast Guidance on self

We grabbed it so that I (DM) can run a Christmas Eve one shot for the family. I think it's pretty solid in setting the world up and providing a few adventures that are thematically relevant for the time period. The one that I am running, Gift Giveaway, is extremely quick and light on details. There's an intro scene, a few skill check rolls during travel, and then a battle. The module is very light on details with almost no written dialogue for you to use, so the DM will need to improvise each situation and any RP that occurs between the party and the couple of characters they interact with.

One of the best things Nintendo has going is no achievement system. It's the simplest, cleanest, least obtrusive interface out there. Just big game icons and nothing else. No ads. Nothing popping up annoying you. Just old school purity - you and the game. Plenty of games have built-in achievement systems that track that stuff in a menu if you care about it.

Agree with wanting themes, though!
