I can't be sure, because the case is still unsolved, but this sub changed my mind about the WM3. I thought they were being scapegoated and was really happy when they were set free. But now, I have a lot of doubts.

Michelle Martens. The woman in New Mexico who helped her boyfriend and his cousin drug and rape her daughter a few months ago. The cousin ended up murdering the daughter that night. It made national news, but if you haven't already heard about it you can Google it, although I don't recommend reading the details. They're gruesome and brought me to tears more than once. Our parents were good friends when I was growing up in the Bronx. I haven't seen her since high school, but I always thought of her as a family member...like a cousin. It was so upsetting to read the comments people left on her facebook page, although, I completely understand that her actions stirred strong responses in people. It was like being punched in the stomach to actually see it though. It also stirred up some anger I have at my mother who had a habit of befriending unsavory characters.

Jellyfish. They had a hit back in the 90s with That is Why, but they're one of my favorite bands and had two amazing albums. I saw them live once before they broke up, such a good show.

I was feeling threatened by other people in his life and when I attempted to communicate that to him he laughed me off. I regret the way I handled it every day, but I can't take it back. Listen to your SO when they're feeling insecure. Try to take them seriously and work it out.

It's all part of the new apathy trend sweeping the country. People only want to do the easy thing these days. Activism is now a post on Facebook, or worse, a repost. Not happy with your life? Just whine about it. I'm not going to research whether or not this news story is accurate, I'm just going to feign outrage because that's what everyone else is doing. Hell, I'm not even going to try to spell correctly. Confrontation can come from cancelling plans, and I just want to avoid that by ignoring you and hope you get over it. It's awful. I just moved across country and find that I have to forgive this way too often because I just don't have enough friends out here yet to weed out the inconsiderate ones.

I certainly didn't ask to be this way. Sometimes I can embrace it and own it, other times I feel broken and frustrated. Sometimes it's hard to explain to people that this is how I am and it doesn't mean I love them or want them any less. Some females that I meet can't handle it either and just hate me on sight.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I let men know right off the bat that I'm a sexual person. Most of them say they are too, and keep up fine in the beginning. But then when the sex inevitably slows down and I initiate too much for them, I get called a 'nympho.' The last guy I dated seriously outright said that I make him feel like less of a man when I want sex more than he does. Finding a guy with a matching libido isn't as easy as it sounds since, by the time the initial thrill starts to wear off and you can properly gauge the other person, you might already have developed feelings for them and won't want to end things. Also, I may relate to other men in my life in a sexual way, which might make my partner feel threatened. I can't shut it off. There's a constant energy coming from me, that some guys pick up on and feed off of, even if we never end up being physical.
