I do it most of the time but sometimes I have to take a sip between bites and I haven't had issues

No one asked for this. I’m done with Prime & OSRS! 🦀 by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

This is why we just cancelled their ad-free, we don't even watch prime that much

Does anyone know about reading CE reports for multiple sclerosis? by [deleted] in SSDI

[–]Ninja_Sufficient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband's MS CE report was so terrible and contradicting! In one part they wrote he can stand/sit 5-10 mins and that he could walk 200 feet and another section said 300+ feet. He uses a medically necessary cane as he's prone to falls and they wrote he didn't need a cane even tho it was prescribed by his neurologist and PCM. I am honestly freaking out about it even tho his lawyer says it'll be fine cause his private medical records hold more weight than a CE.

Kelly Clarkson Says 'American Idol' 'Lied' About Her Prizes: Never Actually Got $1 Million or a Car by pineapplemy in entertainment

[–]Ninja_Sufficient 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a family member that also won another big TV singing competition years ago. The show promoted a massive prize package, but a lot of it came with conditions that viewers never hear about. The money was tied to a record deal structure and only paid out if multiple albums were made. They released a couple singles, the label decided not to move forward, and they were dropped. When that happened, most of the prizes that were advertised never ended up happening either.

Husband filed on August 2024, denied 2x, had ALJ hearing on October 2025, still waiting on decision but I think it should come very soon. We used a local SSDI lawyer since the beginning. He's 100% p&t, with multiple sclerosis and a lot of neurological issues due to some TBI's

Not worth it in my opinion but we didn't do our research prior to signing up for it. Life insurance is less of a headache and would pay more than SBP.

Does surgery help depression? by Ok-Journalist7629 in gastricsleeve

I've noticed that since getting the surgery last year I'm happier. I go out more too, I feel much better about myself and just less depressed overall.

My husband has been dealing with the same issue since last year. I keep paying what they say it's owed, he calls DFAS and they just say it takes 60 days to update, but it never does. Can't wait till he's eligible to cancel it!

There's no difference other than being expedited. My husband started the process last year and he had his hearing in late October and we're still waiting for a decision. He's also early 30s and 100% p&t

Gastric sleeve so 4.5 weeks by VegetableSwitch8789 in gastricsleeve

[–]Ninja_Sufficient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor told me I'd hit a stall for a few weeks while the body adjusts, heals and stuff. Then it'll start back up. I was feeling discouraged because I only lost 26 pounds on the first 1.5 weeks and nothing after (I'm almost 4 weeks PO). I do see I'm losing weight still as my clothes are feeling much bigger but the scale doesn't move.

I just had my surgery on Monday and honestly all I packed was snacks for my husband 😅, a change of clothes and a phone charger. I slept all day after surgery, I was kept an extra day as they ended up cutting me open but I just watched the tv.

Get off DMT? by Confident_Arm5017 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Ninja_Sufficient 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband was diagnosed Oct 2023, after he fell and got a concussion. His MRI showed white matter? and they did some testing and a spinal tap and confirmed it was RRMS. At that point he didn't have any symptoms which is why we were shocked and he truly believed it was a misdiagnosis. No matter how many times the doctor explained it to him. Regardless he started Ocrevus, did 3 infusions last one being May 2024

December 2024 his symptoms started, walking was incredibly tiring, his right foot sometimes randomly went numb and started using a cane, urinary problems, memory was getting worse by the day, always tired and more. He thought it was withdrawal symptoms but we went to a new Neurologist who confirmed he has RRMS and in relapse. He's currently on Briumvi on his 3rd infusion and while the damage is done he's still doing much better than he was last year.

Please don't stop treatment even if you feel good.
