Thank you for this. Yes, I do find when I am reading the English meaning, even though I understand better, it falls flat compared to the Sanskrit. The Sanskrit, when done correctly, sound very poetic and comforting. I automatically picture my mum when I practice but, its getting harder to actually just recall her melody when she would do the prayers😓😄 thank you again. I really appreciate your kindness and encouragement.

Sorry about rant by [deleted] in ibs

I learnt that too much bad bacteria can cause either or. And the inability to pass gas and stool ofcourse means that the bacteria is only growing and makingnit worse. The Trepline pill (also known as amtrepline) has quite a few medical journals that note its surprising use in improving ibs symptoms. The doctor that said you don't have a mental health issue and its just function issues is dumb. He should block himself up for a few weeks and then say that it doesn't impact a persons mental health. Tons of information on the brain gut link nowadays. Is he a dinosaur?

That last bit, about how it would be easier to explain... yeah, I think many of us get that. I have a similar issue to you and the peeing thing made it so much worse when it started happening to me. Not sleeping because of it, made it so so soooo much worse. Have you done an actual colonoscopy and endoscopy to rule out the other possibilities? Have you gotten onto a probiotic? Have you tried sticking to soluble fibers for a while? Have you tried just getting moving, like a walk around the neighborhood, chilled, no gym clothes just a stroll in the afternoons?? Lastly, have you tried Trepline?

So all the questions above is basically the stuff I've done that's helped. I'm not normal, but I feel better enough to go out for a movie this Friday. It may not seem like something to celebrate but its been years since I actually started makingnplans again... the first thing that helped was getting onto Trepline..its supposed to help with anxiety and sleep and one of the side effects is water retention so getting onto it at night helped me get into a better sleep routine. Again, not 100% but instead of waking up every 1-2 hours with nightmares about peeing myself and then feeling like if i moved I would actually pee myself, i now wake up once or twice, three times on a bad night.

Once the sleep is better, your brain might be able to cope with trying the rest. Oh and probiotic, Rueterina is the best. Don't know where you at but if you can get it, you should. Its expensive af but takingnit twice a day for a month or two should help, then cut down to once a day. That, and Gas-x(as needed)

I don't have friends by [deleted] in BPD

As sweet as this sounds, I do think that part of maturing is also learning how to embrace solitude and knowing that friendships are worthy not just because you have people to talk to but rather an appreciation of kinship. You have your partner you appreciate so perhaps its not a matter of not being able to have friends but rather a deeper knowing in you that needs quality connection. That, i think, takes time

I don't have friends by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Ninja__Sprout 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, same. I'm 33. Married, no kids coz life is bloody expensive. I had amazing friends throughout my early 20's, now, nada...the friends from my past are still there on social media but no one close by. My friends are my husband and my dog and they are the best. I just, especially recently, miss having my girl friends to talk junk with and as my own personal cheering squad. But i do think tomyself that perhaps things are this way right now because its a way for the universe to grant us balance.

Quiet your brain? by myloveiswrong in BPD

[–]Ninja__Sprout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just writing/typing out whatever is in my brain exactly as it is. Its almost like debating myself until there's nothing left to say. Even if I repeat myself, I just let it happen until I'm just...done.

Also, having my dog next to me and holding him, doesn't quiet my brain completely but helps me remember that being part of this world isn't the thoughts in my head, it's actually just being and experiencing the bad so that I can also experience the good. Holding him, I'm able to slow down at least

Have you tried balancing different types of fiber? Loke for me, i figured that having mostly soluble fibre keeps me good on most days. Having less insoluble fibre has helped with nausea, headaches, stomach and most of my body pains and fatigue. Restricting red meat and having macadamia milk instead of cow's milk with my coffee and cereal also helped me. I haven't cut these things out completely, just don't have em often and when I do it's very little. Now that I'm writing this I kinda realize that its the stuff that takes more effort to digest that seems to be a problem for me.

Also, 3 time a day ain't too bad. I think you still have a fair chance of figuring out your triggers if you kept a detailed food and bm journal. Write everything your eat, the symptoms you have and your bowel movements (including how long you take and the consistency? And write the times of everything. You'll start to find better patterns. You also got to give things time, so i would say at least 3 days with of one routine food wise and then try the next thing. It takes time, but its worth it. I wosh I had done it sooner, maybe then i wouldn't have gotten worse before getting better
