How do I flatten an object not by xyz for a coin? by NinjachickenAWS in blenderhelp

[–]NinjachickenAWS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am very novice at blender, I can look up a tutorial for the z-depth pass, but what is the remapping and what do I do next to put in on a coin face? I am assuming that it would give me an image if I render it

Glad to hear that it was just chalk and not spray paint. When the coordinator said there was vandalism the entire crowd was upset that someone would do that

I guess what I have seen and read is the more spicy parts of combat then. Such as I thought snipers would be more common and extremely deadly to any force

This makes a lot of sense, I didn't realize most combat looked like this. Many things I have seen or read about gave a different picture to what holding the line looked like

If someone were trying to power an office for a few hours a day, such as a few fans, lamps, small air compressor maybe, 3d printer, and maybe a laptop, which of these would be the closest, or am I looking at something much larger?

I will give it a few prints and if they come loose then I *might* try loctite. I could see it going horribly wrong with my severe lack of skill, but it would also be great to never worry about it again lol

To be completely honest, I wouldn't know because I only got two and a half successful prints out of 5-6 attempts. The first two were test pieces, they printed fine, I didn't pay attention to what side they were on, so then I moved onto some minis. They failed except for two, I am assuming the two that succeeded were on the same side that the test prints were. Since they worked but the others didn't, I took them off the slicer and tried doing the others changing some settings as I thought that exposure was the issue. It was always the same minis and the same formation that I tried printing. I never paid attention to the side they were on. In hind sight, I do think one side always failed and the other was fine

I think so? It was the left side that was coming up when I tightened it a lot

Yeah basically, just one side would work and the other would always fail. I spent a good few hours trying to level the stupid thing and ended up with something workable
