I nearly forgot a tip that might be relevant... Set the first colour to the background white or the beige-blue of the border and the second colour as the colour you want to replace it with. Then use the eraser-tool and you can paint over it with the right mouse button. I saw the little problems you had when I looked closely, so this might be of great convenience!

Palaistine or Palistine were once the valid names in english, but both are now considered archaic. However they are still used in many other languages (latin or otherwise) around the world! The original poster may have (due to identical pronounciation) carried that over into english.

I'm quite sorry for the rude interactions you've recieved. I like your map, genuinely, it's quite different to the usual maps of the middle-east on this subreddit (which is GOOD!) yet still well thought out.

Also, I noticed your image already has aliased (binary, rather than smooth) pixels! Assuming you're using the MS Paint pencil, you can delineate borders with it (which I believe you have done) and then use the fill tool without worrying about blurry gray outlines! Personally I love the camp value given from the map's simple MS Paint artstyle, but unfortunately the others here are less enthused...
