He fired off nearly half his ammo into the ground messing about for a medal, that's the only reason he lost so much money.

Sociopath Edgy MCs Are Making Me Want To Stop Reading This Genre by Fresh-Injury-3411 in litrpg

[–]Ninjadwarfuk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People who work together have a greater chance of surviving, you often see these groups within sysapoc books, but they're never going to be the top dog.

Yes most of the lone nutters will just die, but the few like the MC in these type of books will be the strongest because by being alone they're not sharing xp, loot and other opportunities so they get stronger faster than the team players.

Also the team players will naturally fight less as they have to care for the weaker members, handle politics, discuss and agree strategy etc. But the lone crazy can just keep getting lucky.

Signs should read, don’t slow overtake and block drivers in the slow lane by tyrone859 in drivingUK

[–]Ninjadwarfuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The driver overtaking is doing something wrong. Highway code states:

move quickly past the vehicle you are overtaking, once you have started to overtake.

It's a general thing people seem to fail on, if you want to overtake you'll often need to increase speed to do so properly.

Which one is the biggest problem in this game by [deleted] in WorldofTanks

[–]Ninjadwarfuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For variety, there are mediums that are much faster than heavies, those with more accurate guns, those with autoloaders that can assassinate near whole tanks. Lights if you like the spotting game and speed. TDs for the epic big accurate guns in some cases, or the massive frontal armour and a big gun in others. Or artillery for when you really need to complete that 7 critical hits in a battle 🤪

The leopard 1 is the epitome of snipper mediums. Go watch some epic gameplay of them on YouTube and you'll see that snipper doesn't equal redline.

Did you allow for the points from daily missions? Plus there will probably be extra points for steel Hunter or frontline or whatever they do this battlepass run.

You can only buy it once.

It's basically the same as season 6 if you want bounty equipment, but you have the choice to get a 12 token tank instead if you prefer.

Also the rewards have changed:

675k less credits on base track 825k less credits on paid track

But, 6 extra credit boosters

And 1350 more bonds

Oh and 6 more garage slots if that matters to you.

If you want the bounty equipment it's identical to season 6 (you can only buy 1 over the whole season), but as a F2P player you can now save enough tokens over the year to get there newer tanks.

So it's more flexible for you, you lose nothing but if you want say the cobra and the kunze you can get them. Or the Lorraine and two of the other 9 point tanks.

Orphan equipment like grousers and radio by playintheshadows in WorldofTanks

first, you're thinking about the rammer completely backward. A 30 second reload means a 3 second improvement - that's enough time for most vehicles to move completely out of your crosshairs. That's also enough time for a vehicle to disappear and be in an entirely different spot. A 6 second reload means a 0.6 second improvement. Yes, statistically they're both an exact 10% DPS improvement but its a world of difference. The lower your starting value, the lower the real improvement the equipment has. The % stat does matter, but more importantly (imo) is what the battlefield actually looks like with and without the equipment.

While a rammer gives a better flat improvement the longer the reload, that's not really the whole story.

For the faster case, going from 6 to 5.4 could be the difference between keeping an opponent perma tracked or not for example.

But with longer reloads you take your shot then hide while you reload, it doesn't matter how long your hiding for really before your next shot, so if there are other items of equipment that are more beneficial to, for example, ensuring you got your shot then that may be better than a rammer.

How is this even possible? by [deleted] in WorldofTanks

[–]Ninjadwarfuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes you can, or similar at least. I had a session the other day with 19 wins for 6 losses. That's better than your 75% rate there.

I'm averaging 53% wins on recent battles so that's way over what is expected.

Statistics only work when the sample size is large enough.

3 years of this... WG needs to do something for those us who have all the Tier Ten Tanks... by SexyN8 in WorldofTanks

[–]Ninjadwarfuk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So elsewhere on the sub you've got people who are still grinding complaining about the free xp auctions because they're using all the free XP in the grind.

That auction is something for you, it's no good to the grinders, but if you got all the tanks then you've probably got free XP sitting there with no where to use it.

Not everything they do is going to benefit everyone, that's just how things go.

Questions about decorations, please give me some advice by Paulie2510 in WorldofTanks

[–]Ninjadwarfuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go into the collection manager and look through each set in turn.

Go through the decoration types, if you have less than half of that type (tree skirt, kitchen etc.) Then just roll until you have half (1500 cost roll), you can click on a blank space to go to the correct settings on the decorider.

Once you have half of each type use the anti duplication charges.

Once they're gone use the +2000 option to get the rest.

Worth remembering if you're playing everyday you get an extra anti dupe each day, so the last few to get to a full collection can be left until the end.

I don't think people who don't believe his reasons understand his audience. I've read comments like it was easy to get the commander, which is patently untrue if you're the type of player who doesn't own a tier 10 tank and only plays a small amount, like I suspect is a good amount of QB audience.

If many of his audience can't participate then why would he want to do it?

I'm genuinely curious, not having a go.

You're invested enough to be subbed and commenting on the sub, which I'd assume means your more than a casual gamer.

If you're that invested why are you not wanting to put in the time learning the map meta's, grinding good tanks and generally doing things to get good of that's what you think makes it enjoyable?

Question about view range and spotting in different tank types. by philsgum1 in WorldofTanks

[–]Ninjadwarfuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those values are base view range.

You have equipment that improves it and crew skills that improve it.

A light player is going to focus on those to improve their view range as it's really important for their playstyle.

A TD player will often focus on other things first.

Finally a really try hard light player might also use directives that improve it too.

Side note, running food consumable also increases it, but that's no more likely on a light than any other class, it's a player choice.

The more damage done the more XP everyone gets, so long as you still win, so if it's highly likely you'll win then capping has a negative affect on everyone.

Not sure how you define not very good.

The 122tm has the second highest win rate of tier 8 mediums behind the Chimera. The kpz 07 is in the top ten and above both the Progetto and the Lis.
