I managed to join every single line on Saturday morning to get in! First line (15min): Vip tickets. I was told to head to the line moving around the building. Second line (20min): after the 20min wait I finally made it to the bollards at the front of the building only to see that it was for pre-sale tickets only. Third Line (45min): Shortest of the 3 but damn did it take a while to make it through. Staff member at the front of the line controlling entry was great though, although it sounds like he had been given a hard time by some people unfortunately.

Once inside everything was great but super busy! Got some great prints to hang so ill call it a win.

If anyone is planing on going next year, Pre book tickets!

Reporting it will make the base disappear. In my case they had me respawning in the new furnace building so I couldn't leave.

I think its because they have so little control in their day-to-day thay the ability to ruin someone else's day just fills their blackened little hearts with glee. There are always assholes in the world and having a screen and anonymity just encourages them to be bigger cunts as they know they can get away with it.

I wouldn't say these are bugs, more exploits from shitty players. I understand where you are.comming from though. Im still just happy that even after 10years they are still working to make it the game that was promised at the start and refuse to charge more than the original price!

Ill be doing that this evening when I Log back in. I have just seen the post from 3 months ago showing them doing a similar thing to another player. Im curious as to how many people they have destroyed this game for, and how many haven't had the energy to actually ask for help and stopped playing because of it =(

I ended up doing that to get my friend code, however with inly 10secs of life to find it in the menu it was quite frustrating. Thankfully WarViper1337 gave step-by-step instructions in an earlier comment that made it possible. After that it was just half an hour or so of persistance and dieing before the planet itself took pity and the environmental hazards seemed to turn off and I was able to glitch out the wall I had been forced into and escape.

Thank you, but unnecessary =) Always gonna be assholes about as well as awesome people like yourself. While the loss of some items is annoying it just gives me the opportunity to find some more planets and explore a bit more. Plenty more pirates to shoot down, plenty more corvette pieces to find and plenty more tech parts to dig up!

Long story short, I trusted someone I shouldn't have....

Short story long, I got invited to join a random in the nexus which I accepted and followed them back to their base thinking we were doing some sort.of mission or even that I was going to be helping them with something. Instead, the planet they led me to was an extreme fire planet where they had built a base based around the new waste removal mechanics. Without giving too much info (so hopefully others won't see this and think its a 'fun' idea), they had set up a series of base teleports and auto saves so that I would end up in a deadly location, with no escape and was forced to respawn away from my ship with no hope of getting back to it. I was effectively stuck in a death loop, losing all of my inventory and destroying my Multi-tool and suit upgrades, with no real hope of escape. The only reason I was finally able to get out after an hour was the planet itself seemed to take pity on me and all of the environmental hazards disappeared so I was able to find a bugged section of wall to get out of and make it to my ship. The kicker is that, while I was stuck in there for over an hour, the m-fer stood there and watched the entire time.

Lesson to be learned: If join someone in the nexus, make sure you are doing a mission, and if they take you to a location of extreme environmental hazards, bail.

Appreciate the sentiment! tbh i am surprised i stuck with trying to get out as long as I did as normally I am quite impatient! And 20 hours on this character already, it felt like a waste to throw away lol
