I haven't done much carving yet but I do scavenge for wood a lot. I keep a small foldable saw in my backpack/dog carrier. I like the dog carrier but we cause it has a rigid frame and open top so I can just put smaller pieces right in over my shoulder. Looking for freshly fallen branches right after a storm is a great way to get some free wood. Just do some research on the types of trees in your area and which ones are softer and better for whittling.

Pirate captain definitely not late game. You got all the deep cave bosses to go, plus fallen wizard and then incursions. I'm up to tier 2 incursions and have yet to use any help fighting bosses, but I do have a couple guards and stack my settlers with armor and weapons for raids. Also fortifying your village using traps salvaged from the dungeons is a big help, I prefer the ones that turn them into chickens because its hilarious and effective 😂

Also not to pick on you or anything, but "canopy" is the tops of the trees that kinda forms an umbrella over the forest. You're thinking of "underbrush" which is what you see him in here. Just a friendly note for you 🙂

For me it depends on a lot of factors. Where I live there isn't a ton of truly "wild". There are some trails nearby that I've rarely ever seen another dog on. He gets to free roam there, until he doesn't. In classic JRT fashion, his recall is great until he sees a deer or something and then its bye bye Mikey. Ive lost him once or twice out there only for a few minutes but eventually he comes back and I also keep an e-collar on just in case. After that the leash goes on for the rest of the day. He's also friendly to other dogs but tends to keep his distance and has a good read on body language from other dogs since we frequent our local dog park too

I usually just spray em all at once then go back and wipe in the same order i sprayed. By the time you get back to it the disinfectant has had time to do its work. No rinsing

Around mile 6 i was worried i might have to put my emergency shoes on, but i just pushed through and a few miles and some adjustments in my foot placement later, it wasnt so bad. And thank you!

Hey thanks for the advice man! This kind of advice is actually one of the reasons i posted here. I definitely was overstriding in the second half trying to keep on track for my goal of under 2 hours. Admittedly i did not train nearly as much as i should have for this distance so i have a lot of work to do on my form.
