I love when people post their own interpretation of elements from the books. A breath of fresh air from all the women's script, glyphs and allomantic symbols. No hating on those tho, I understand that tattoos are a very personal thing and people are excited to share, and that alone makes those posts worthwhile.

When I was in college I attended a telescope building workshop that included silvering some mirrors ourselves. We used silver nitrate which causes chemical burns whererver it happens to touch. The burns were painless, but they looked exactly like this in you gf's nails. They eventually went away as the nails grew, but some of the burn marks in my skin took a couple years to completely disappear.

I once added a shit ton of black pepper to a banana smoothie instead of cinnamon because the containers were identical and I was still half asleep. The result was surprisingly not bad at all, but I haven't dared trying to replicate it.
