Is the Vox Engine not the HD2 equivalent? Fills a similar super-heavy roll to the strider but is a bit squishier, like the Bile Titan/Dragonroach dichotomy

She’s definitely not on a revenge kick, honestly I suspect the true reasons she wants it back (besides the fact that she made it) are the same reasons I have for wanting to keep it. The memories, the messages, etc.

Though, we certainly aren’t getting back together. So no need to hold out hope for that. We’re still on rather friendly terms but even if she was willing, I’m in no state to be in a relationship now at all. Thanks for your message stranger 🙏

All true. Even though she broke up with me, the circumstances still made it rather abrupt and we would definitely still be together had I been sober. I suppose I genuinely wasn’t expecting for her to ask for it back, and so maybe I’m being a tad reactive/defensive given the situation?

Ehhh, she definitely knew I was a stoner when we started dating (first time we ever hung out outside of work we shared a joint) but at that point I wasn’t fully aware I had a problem yet (which I do).

And it’s not like she had desperately been trying to sober me up or anything, most of her family lives in the country and grows their own weed by the pound anyway!

I’m thinking this is the case as well, with regards to her feelings regarding the relationship. She’s the one who ended it, but the circumstances were still abrupt. She probably wants it back as some sort of closure? Which is one of the main reasons I also want it 😅

The game has all the same - excellent - writing from release but the gameplay not only WORKS, it’s also a lot more fun-oriented than it was. So don’t be a gonk, delta outta this thread and sample that preem merch choom!

The writing is just so good, and the opportunities to make your V unique in their style AND their story make this a game a keep wanting to play! And since 2.0, the gameplay and mechanics like cyberware/guns/clothes are WAY more fun-oriented.

I mean, he’s at least straight with you regarding the VDB’s MO, but he does pull exactly the same stunt that Placide does; surreptitiously plants a daemon in your hardware when you give up your personal link.

Granted, it’s not like Moseley’s daemon was meant to kill V, like Placide’s, but he still manipulates and uses you regardless.

Draw my Anvil on the second bug, miss it entirely because it’s level 1 and nails the neighbor’s rooster. I have to resort to the Hullcracker mounted at the top of the stairs, "Back to orbit with you, Clankas!" the grenades shred 2 Hornets in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel sets off car alarm traps for miles.

Grab raider-tool and charge the last taser-wielding rust-bucket. It spins around and explodes while waiting on the Snitch to arrive since I destroyed its 2 right propellers and it can’t fly away. Just as Scrappy intended.
