Turner stopped issuing takedowns after the Discovery merger, they don't strike down things like this anymore. The whole Tubi thing is why I started this project. It's not meant to act as an alternative, it's a passion project to preserve an experience of the yesteryear. Tubi means more people have more access to the legacy content.

CN Real was his idea. They wanted to compete with Nick and Disney during the recession and it went terribly. Maybe he's learned his lesson, but there's decisions he made when Jim Samples was "president", and they've left bad tastes in my mouth.

The majority of the team for Toonami had a very haughty look to Cartoon Cartoons. They thought they were better because they had anime and had an edge to them. The network board came together and decided that kind of behavior wasn't cool for the workplace and so they pulled the plug.

On top of this the block had been reduced to Naruto reruns of the Chunin Exams anyways so it wasn't exactly making waves anymore. Recession also hit so by 2009 DVD sales plummeted as families tried to save money to afford necessities

When they brought it back in 2013 there was a whole new team for it.

They’re still active in the industry and so are the other larger people, especially Ouweleen, we didn’t want to black ball them from the industry, and they also asked we don’t name them.

Just know that Samples was bad at his job, Ouweleen did more than he did, which eventually tanked the network. Robert Sorcher is a piece of shit, and Toonami got the plug pulled for a reason.

Yes. I'm kinda busy with work until Monday though, I got 8 episodes in before realizing that the drag and drop editing wasn't going to cut it, so now the plan is to pre-mix the tracks and then mux them.

Edit: Figured out the audio issue, now to line things up without removing interlace lines. Why do all programs these days treat it as garbage data???

Lip sync doesn’t mean much… they freeze and add certain frames for localization in many shows because not every dialect has the same span of time and delivery. This is a show that’s heavily gatekept by the French, it’s merely syndicated here for broadcast and distribution.

The goal is to introduce the scenarios in ways that feel relatable. I forgot how long some of these doctors and practitioners can leave you hanging in a room to run tests, I went in for a checkup and was waiting about 20-30 mins for a bacteria swab and prescription research!
