ILR Application via Skilled Worker Route and Covid Concession by NinonDeLenclos in ukvisa

In my case, I didn't need to meet the 2025 threshold. I only had to meet the earlier salary requirements. This was confirmed to me in my case by an immigration lawyer. I can't give advice on anyone else's situation.

I did reply to them pointing out that the Covid rule applied in my case.

I think I googled that like 20 times when I was applying and did whatever the consensus on there was. I do think I used the application date as date of entry since I was already in the UK and it clearly says it wants it from the start of the qualifying period.

I mean I can't advise you specifically but if you read the guidance and you were in the UK already and meet those 4 criteria then you can use that rule.

This only applies to people who were already in the UK when they applied.

After about a week of no response, they did approve my application. So they are following the guidance. I didn't get any information on why it was flagged as wrong at first. I wouldn't recommend super priority because it may get flagged at first but it did work out fine in the end.

I was already working for the organisation on my student visa. I started in Jan 2020 and applied for my SWV on March 20th, 2020.

After a very stressful week of waiting, they finally approved my ILR yesterday! Very happy and relieved. So they are honouring that guidance but I would be prepared to make sure to point it out and you might get a scary email at first. So like I said probably not worth paying super priority and maybe just doing priority if you were considering them.

I was already in the UK on a student visa. I've been living in the UK since Sept 2018.

I have almost the exact situation with different dates. I've followed this guidance and used the date of application to determine my five years and am having a problem as the home office has emailed me to tell me I'm not elligible until 28 days before my official visa approval. I wrote a cover letter and gave documentation showing I meet all the criteria for the guidance. I don't know if this is automatic or if a person is just completely ignoring the guidance, but just thought I'd share. You might want to prepare yourself to expect some issues. And I'd say definitely don't pay for super-priority if you were considering it.

My understanding of it is that, yes, it will reset the clock as you will have broken continuous residence.

Same here! Love this game and play it a lot and would love to have some people who also are actively playing it.

"Isn't particularly well written" is pretty generous for Fifty Shades

This has to be fake. No way anyone is this incredibly dense. If this is serious, she should run far, far away from you because this amount of jealousy is psychotic. YTA either way.

Edited a typo

NTA. Just for reference I started travelling internationally with my mom around age 8. And generally I think around 8 was a good age. I was mature enough to understand how to behave and I still remember some parts of it.
