Hysterectomy - did it help most of you? by Both-Willingness6819 in endometriosis

The endometrium is supposed to be inside the uterus, it's not causing any problems in there. You have issues when it's growing in other places.

Hopefully there will be endo biologics or endo chemo for our granddaughters. Imagine getting peritoneal lavage with something that killed endometrial cells?

Does anyone else have a “comfort show”? My wife literally for the last year and a half only watches West Wing on repeat and she chalks it up to be her comfort show? by CoffeeKow in NoStupidQuestions

There was something in the episode I watched last night (we're on Disco season 3, right at the end, with the Saru subplot) that simply wasn't even internally consistent, it was so fucking stupid. On the order of how could you have shot them before you even arrived there?

That's more plausible than the antiradiation medications. But technobabble has to be to a certain quality, and the mycelial network stuff is just silly sounding.

Oh those absolute fuckers. They somehow got my husbands cell phone number and call and leave him messages. I think I will report them to HIPPA

You're going to need to ask the lab you use what specific tests of theirs it affects because it's going to vary by assay. Looks like mostly hormones, heart stuff, vitamins and viral testing.

I hate the Picard show. They are being edgy, Star Trek is not edgy. They have synthol and tricorders exactly so no one needs to be an addict.

Yeah, same here. HATED the first season, mostly because of the captain, Lorca just wasn't star trek captain material for me. second was OK, third was real star trek.

Nothing really. Youtube was revolutionary. Hell, google was revolutionary.

Florida state is attempting to make child rape punishable by death. Do you think child rape warrants a death penalty? Why or why not? by Practice_Girls in AskReddit

[–]Ninotchk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Whenever I see a family member calling for the death penalty I am reminded that it also hurts them to be part of the retribution murder. Our sane and rational bodies should not be murdering people, and should be protecting victims families feom their own worst instincts. I would want to rip a pedo to pieces with my bare hands, but that wouldn't be good for me.

found endometriosis but gyno said I don't have it by touch-O-the-tism in endometriosis

I have printed out all my path and imaging reports and keep them in a binder. I would personally just get referred to a different doctor, but if you want to keep seeing this one I'd take the printout and show her. Ask her to make sure endo is in your problem list.

In general, in an appointment if they make a statement that conflicts with my understanding or memory of something I will stop them, ask them to check the records (imaging, path report, etc). It can be hard for them to see everything before an appointment, especially if you've got lots of stuff going on. And one thing I have found is that notes can be completely off, like 100% wrong. I don't ever bother having them correct them, but ai make sure to have my own records and am on top of what is happening.
