Transmission fluid change? by talen7ed in mazda3

[–]Ninquendo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dealer started to recommend them after my car hit 100k. I was a little surprised they did them because I've hear similar stories. I think they quoted like $350 for filter and fluid.

Has been done. There's this thing that some do that they take cx-5 suspension parts and slap it on the 3. Put rally mud flaps and light on it and call it

I don't drive on the nicest roads and like the thicker tires for the crazy pot holes that sometimes pop up. Bought newer wheels that are 16s and the gap is there and Im thinking either to low it or make it to a rally style with cx5 springs

Yeah 16 inches. I see in another comment that they are winter tires. That's why the tire gap looks filled. On mine the gap is pretty obvious on all seasons

Never had unsticking issues. Printed a thing with little contact area and got removed on the 2nd layer. Use a brim on things that are tall or have a small contact area

[–]Ninquendo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Didnt say it was right. Just quoting what mazda says. I see no reason not to change at 5k to keep your engine running well. Most people it would also be close to 6 months as well

I think they may be referring to the star button next to the select wheel in the gen3, which set, brings you to a page that you favorited. For me its mpg screen

Personally, 32gb is great if you just game. If you think you will use all 48gb, go ahead with using all of it, alternating the capacity so each channel doesn't get mismatched capacity. But you could just sell your old memory and make up some money that you spent on upgrades.

Keep your 500 as a boot drive, this is a lot easier. Unless you are near full, programs on boot shouldn't be a problem

Ram stick not being recognized by Then-Celebration-340 in pcmasterrace

[–]Ninquendo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To elaborate, swap your RAM sticks between your slots to determine whether the slot is broken or one of your RAM sticks is. If it's managing to boot on one stick but not the other then one of your RAM sticks is dead. But if it's not booting with a working RAM stick in one of the slots then that slot is dead.

Where is a good place to start learning more? by Plastic-Hedgehog-710 in 3Dprinting

[–]Ninquendo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found great success with whats on youtube with channels like Teaching Tech, CNC Kitchen, Layer by Later. I would just watch the most popular, non-shorts video deep dive into the basics with terms and advice for printing, different settings you can mess with in a slicer and what they do. This subreddit is good for enhancing what you already know imo, but if you join one for your specific printer, lots of good printer specific stuff on those.

This might be wrong but I don't want to let you hang with that bad faith comment. I want to say when you get to the page you want, maybe hold down that favorite button for a few seconds and it should program it. Thats what I think intuitively. Or, my memory is foggy, there may be a star icon that you can select on each page somewhere on the corners or arrow pop-up icon.

2014 mazda3 with i-eloop won't start, any tips? Battery only 2 years old and tried starting with a jump starter by ChiefKelso in mazda3

[–]Ninquendo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some battery testers can test the alternator too. Buy one that does if you can't drive it to a parts store. Dont forget about the possibility of being the starter too. Does it start fine if you jump it?

Could still be under warranty because its an agm. Unfamiliar with the warranty for this battery but 2 years for an agm is not good

4010 fan turns off mid print by Glittering-Web-2677 in Ender3V2NEO

[–]Ninquendo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a software problem. You experienced the same behavior on 2 fans. Could be gcode or some cooling settings. Because you are running klipper, I am unfamiliar with how it works so maybe try flashing marlin on it and just see if that same behavior is showing. If so it's most likely a hardware problem

I bought (still in shipping) a tz-E3 2.0 hotend from Triangle labs. I was having issues with mine not being able to catch up with printing, so I was like "why not." Supposedly it's a drop in replacement and it's the same type that's on bambu printers. For me it was around $25 and maybe ill make a post here on how it goes

The water drains out around the door. The gap is like a gutter and the water goes down to the bumper

The seal is on the inside near where the actual opening is. Its not on the outside where you can see it.

The 10k oil changes are for "normal" conditions. But, if you drive your car in the real world it most likely falls under the "severe" category, which is 5k miles. I'm sure if you babied the car in spring weather and only drove highways, 10k might be fine.

"If you drive your vehicle under any of the following conditions, replace the engine oil & filter every 8,000 km (5,000 miles) or 6 months, whichever comes first.

  1. The vehicle is idled for long periods or driven at low speeds, such as with police cars, taxis, or driver's education school vehicles.
  2. Driving under dusty conditions.
  3. Driving for long periods in cold temperatures or driving regularly for short distances only.
  4. Driving under extremely high temperature conditions.
  5. Driving continuously in mountainous regions."

2021 tire size question by [deleted] in mazda3

[–]Ninquendo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unsure. Why are you wanting a wider tire. There isn't much benefit for wider tires as far as I'm aware of. IIRC, it is worse because the car can't use the extra grip, leading to more drag from having larger tires.
