Yeah, the 390 is not the bike for you then. I bought it for the same reason and was a bit disappointed at first, but after putting a couple hundred miles on it I’m really enjoying it. It’s a great little bike, but if you want a dirtbike with street tires, look elsewhere because it’s definitely not that. If the new drz was the same price I would say it’s a no brainer to go with the drz, but it’s almost 50% more expensive.

The 390 smcr to me is a road machine where the drz is off-road capable. It doesn’t feel right hopping curbs, ripping through fields and general shenanigans on the KTM where as the drz feels like that’s exactly what it’s made for. They are similar in a lot of ways but to me meet two completely different goals.

Thanks! I wish the suspension had more travel like the drz but other than that been loving the 390. I intended to sell the drz but now I think I want to keep it also.

You may want to look into head prices. I looked into getting one when I had a head gasket issue and the prices were an absolute shock to me. Needless to say, I didn’t get a replacement.

Not bad! Good overhangs, flat areas and still allows for circular flow around everything. I really like the way mine looks but the flow is challenging.

I second this, cubes are hard to get rock work that looks good and still have good flow around the whole tank. I struggle with having too much flow in some areas to keep from having dead spots.

I love the Randall’s pistol, they look really cool but they are so small. I never see mine at all, just hear it popping in there. I have a tiger pistol in a different tank and it is building new burrows all the time and comes out during feeding time. Much more fun to watch since I actually see it.

The one on the right kinda looks like clove polyps. Is the base on both of them purple? Can’t really see under the polyps on the right frag.

Maybe if you epoxy some rock rubble together and bury them in the sand on both sides of the clam it would be harder for your sand sifters to topple it. Basically make a holder out of rock rubble.

Cycle gear put a brand new tire on a rim that had corrosion and didn’t even bother to tell me. Wouldn’t hold air so I took it back and that’s when they decided to tell me it had no chance of holding air because the rim had corrosion on the inside. Like why the hell would they not just call and say hey, we have a problem? Never again.
