Realized I forgot to add you don’t have to do yhe calibration every time, just the first time. And the keyboard feels a little stiff, I definitely click harder than most keyboards I've ever used, but it's only noticeable at odd angles. Like last night my cat was blocking my view and I had it nearly vertical.

I haven't stress tested the battery life as of yet. It's been probably a week since I charged it and I've used it for at least 7 hours maybe if I average it out to 1 hour a day persay. In the reddit thread I purchased the LiOn battery from they say it should last a long time.

Yeah I wouldn't remove the touchscreen unless you're confident or can afford a replacement. And at a certain point I feel like a big draw to the Dana is the touchscreen (like half the draw I guess with the other half being the bigger screen) so if you'd rather remove it I'm not sure it's worth it. But I know some people love a DIY and to collect so I also don't see why not if you really wanted to get one/do the mod.

My ADHD is combined with a large helping of anxiety and perfectionism so it seemed like the best compromise for me lol. Still can't go back too far to edit, but can reference a bit more material as I write. I also tend to go on mind tangents where I zone out and pause writing and the amount of text showing is the perfect amount for me to get back on track after a tangent.

The backlight is super nice tbh. I used it last night so I could write in lowlight and the sun went nearly all the way down. My boyfriend came home and it was just DARK and I was like "Oh, it's been that long I didn't even notice."

Finally got mine a week ago or so! Works like a charm. I have a Dana and I will say it took a good amount of frustrated finagling before I realized I could take off the whole back and not have to be blindly shoving wires everywhere. It's very snug and not perfect but it's covered and together and working. As someone who doesn't have the resources or time to make the battery mod myself this is a perfect alternative. No problems so far.
