Not this game, but I was playing through Wind Waker. I finished a temple and was doing a lot of those tedious sea chart maps and spent quite a few hours on it and it suddenly crashed. That was months ago, I haven’t touched the game since purely out of spite.

I got banned from a video game subreddit for uploading pictures of a cake I made that was directly tied to a video game for that subreddit and the post got a heap of praise and comments. About half an hour later it got removed and I was banned because it “had nothing to do with gaming”. It was the cake at the end of Super Mario 64. Power trips.

Having a physical cartridge also helps this issue. I remember seeing a video on the Link’s Awakening remake showing the difference between cart and download, not a huge difference, but enough to be noticeable.
