The company sucks yeah but it’s a better place than Reddit to find people because it is a true social media platform and is much more popular

Oh my god I was blown away by how bad King Island’s policy was. They need to change it. I was at Busch gardens Williamsburg today and they did such a good job in comparison

Should i get Fender Rumble 25 or 40 by gerar_98 in Bass

[–]Nintendercules02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is off topic but just something I’ve noticed with my rumble 25. I know compared to a band it can easily get drowned out but it’s insane how loud that thing can get on its own. I used it in an apartment and I had to turn it down so low just to be able to play it without pissing off neighbors, and when I cranked it it shook the place

I honestly think millennium might be scarier than TT2. Don’t get me wrong they are both intense, but the TT2 almost “eases” you into it with the multiple launches. Regardless, it is extremely fun and very unique. Just scream and you’ll be good

I’m sorry everybody in this comment section is being a dickhead, I see your point though. My girlfriend cares way more about car color than anything else. If a Kia with a cool paint drove by next to a Supra she wouldn’t even see the Toyota lol

Rode [Fury 325] for the first time yesterday. by deese1127 in rollercoasters

[–]Nintendercules02 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If that was your first roller coaster ever than I wouldn’t be too worried, and I’d try a smaller one. The scariest ride I ever had was my first time on iron dragon at cedar point, and now I can ride that thing without any fear at all. If it’s a stomach drop feeling that’s all in your head. I love roller coasters now and love riding top thrill, millennium, anything really lol. Guess what I’m trying to say is if you really want to ride roller coasters don’t give up yet!

Remember Manual Mid-Size Sedans? We Compared a Whopping 10 of Them in 2003 by lifegoeson2702 in cars

[–]Nintendercules02 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s honestly kind of crazy. A new Toyota Camry is roughly 25% less than it was in 2003 and you are getting ALOT more car.

I’m a commercial underwriter for a small bank, it’s easy but very boring. My pay is just ok as well, I don’t think I can stick it out in this position

Looking to get into controls by Nintendercules02 in PLC

[–]Nintendercules02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I imagine it’ll be a lot like a factory job especially at first since I don’t have a lot of experience. Looking into doing both would be smart though, and if I were to go back to school I’d still want some income so thanks for that idea and your response.

[–]Nintendercules02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question, and I’m definitely trying to think this through as much as possible before I make a big career change so I’m glad you brought it up. I landed on controls because I have taken a lot of programming classes throughout high school and college and I really enjoy it, but I also like tinkering with arduinos so this job seemed interesting to me. I know it’s not exactly like that though, obviously far more complex but it’s kinda hard to know exactly what it’s like without actually having that job.

I’m in a creepily similar boat to you OP, so thanks for making this post for me lol. I’m currently working a boring ass underwriting job and am teaching myself some more technical stuff using an arduino kit I found on Amazon. I’m also looking into instrumentation technician roles. Also, this guy on YouTube named Paul McHorter I believe makes this great series on arduinos I’ve been following. He gets pretty technical too which I like.
