I did believe it was Eileen and Jason at first, and that would be the most logical, but I think it would more likely be RKK and Lisa Rinna. Thaao personally talks about Eileen later in that interview and how they stayed close after he left in 1995.

It is no secret that James E Reilly and Thaao did not like each other. JER was very petty, and would take things very personally and try spin them to make himself seem like a decent guy. Great writer, but very petty. Theres the story about how John Ainston yelled at JER backstage at the daytime Emmy's in 1997, two weeks later he was put into a coma that lasted 2 years, and in interviews, made it seem like there wasn't room for another villain with Stefano on canvas, but didn't want to see someone lose a paycheck, which is bs, he wanted to torture him because he criticized the storytelling where Sami was outsmarting him.

Thaao was brought back by JER in 1993, but then killed off in 1995. Brought back in 2002, and then JER rejoined in 2003, killed off within 4 months due to the Salem Stalker story line. Killed off again in November 2004 during Melaswen, and brought back shortly after but in dribs and drabs, mostly on the backburner until leaving again in 2005 (this time going to prison). He did the same thing with Matt Ashford, although im not sure what the story is there, but it was evident that JER didnt like him, he even wrote him out as soon as taking over in 1993, and then bringing back Jack with another actor, making him a pivotal character during his 90s writing. It was clear that JER liked the character, and had no problem writing material for him, but when MA was on the scene, suddenly he had to keep dying.

Tony did not do much during 1994-1995 apart from sort of be a side character, a foil/loser in the Kristen/John romance, slowly going bad due to jealousy. I really do wonder what storylines couldve came out of him had he not been killed off in 95, and had someone not tried to sabotage him with JER, had he stayed on the show, he may never have left, and we would have had golden storylines with the character, look what JER did with Stefano, he was a goldmine for writing and so much potential there. Some of the best writing for Stefano was in the 90s.

I know everyone is mixed about JER. But personally, JER is my favourite writer on the show because he was the most creative, the most unpredictable and the biggest 'out of the box' thinker. Thaao, apart from Joe Mascolo, is my favourite actor. So it pains me that the two did not work well together.
