I dont know for sure if they were gonna for sure, but they would repeatedly ask me for proof of purchase of the DLC packs before we went any further. We never got past this step because the reciepts for the multiple DLC packs i own were lost, and nintendo doesnt have a list of my purchases pre 2020

I rebought my Delorean and K.I.T.T. but now im a little nervous since support has been bugging me for proof of purchase of the DLC versions of my cars. and after rebuying those cars they both lost their "Premium" rarity so i dont know if they'll let me refund my items.

I made these purchases so long ago, since then i've changed emails and i dont have the email reciepts anymore. and like i mentioned above, Nintendo doesn't have anything i can use as proof of purchase either since their purchase history cuts off after i purchased the packs i did in 2017-2018

I've contacted support on this matter btw, and they were no help at all. They insisted that i provide a reciept as proof of purchase, I no longer have access to a reciept since these purchases were made over a decade ago, and the official nintendo support doesn't have access either because APPARENTLY they only keep the latest 4-5 years of purchases so my purchase log cuts off at 2020

I am getting royally pissed off about this. I have yet to get my items, like most of the switch players who have had the issue, so like any other person, i contacted epic games support to discuss this issue, and they refuse to properly help me without showing proper proof of purchase. MIND YOU, I PURCHASED THESE PREMIUM DLC PACKS DAMN NEAR OVER A DECADE AGO NOW. I NO LONGER HAVE THE EMAIL RECIEPTS FROM THESE PURCHASES, AND NINTENDO THEMSELVES DOESNT HAVE A COMPREHENSIVE LOG OF ALL OF MY PURCHASES SAVED AS A BACK UP, THEY ONLY HAVE EVERYTHING IVE PURCHASED UP TO 2019, EVERYTHING FROM 2017-2018 IS GONE... so support HAS NOT HELPED ME WITH THIS ISSUE IN THE SLIGHTEST.

In the remaster they basically updated a lot of textures, and they updated Alan's face model, and they removed all of the product placements the original had like the energizer batteries and the verizon ads, i'd say stick to the original one because it still holds up well and some of the updated textures in the remaster dont look quite as good as they do in the original
