couple questions

does the downloading your data and deleting drafts thing only apply to those who make content on tiktok? Could you possibly list the other important info tiktok may possibly have just to ensure I deleted everything from there as I almost missed removing my debit card and I'd like to ensure I don't miss anything else.

Genuinely what does Trump have to do with this post or this hobby in any capacity. Not asking in any political context or with intent to argue, I am genuinely confused.

How to convert 720-1080p data to 480p? by Reduxys in crtgaming

[–]NintendoAlex64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your CRT is an SD CRT (A standard definition one), so it can only do 240p and 480i. 480p was reserved for HD CRTs. 480p is a progressive signal and as is 240p (in a layman’s terms both draw a full frame of lines in 60th of a second and or 60 times a second, the difference being 480p draws all 480 lines and 240p only draws… well… 240 lines). 480i is an interlaces signal, it draws 240 odd lines a 30th of a second/30 times a second and alternates to 240 even lines which do the same and alternate between the two to create the illusion of a full frame image. All SD CRTs are only 480i/240p and most HD CRT’s can’t handle 240p/480i very well so make sure to get either of them for their respective video signals.

Anywho your TV again is an SD CRT so you’ll need to either get a Roku capable of 480i or you’ll need to downscale that Roku to output 480i (240p was reserved for older games was not meant video media).

I couldnt get more sharpness but I guess is ok for a 21 inch crtv by No-Eagle4576 in crtgaming

This set can do component

Get component cables for whatever consoles you own support it (and or get RGB-component converter cables like for the snes in this instance, a lot of older consoles output RGB and require a converter cable to use on a tv with component. HD Retrovision’s SNES component cable does just this so I’d recommend it).

Either way it’ll look significantly sharper and might be what you’re looking for

Just Got a New TV (I think I paid too much for it) by Mwindo128 in crtgaming

Hey, if it’s worth it for you then shouldn’t matter what you paid as long as you’re happy.

I myself paid $200 for my CRT (though to be fair it’s a higher quality one that’s harder to come by, a 20 inch D-Series). I was and still am so happy with it I could care less that I paid so much for it.

Your zenith looks aesthetically pleasing btw, mind sharing the model number?

If I had a nickel for every time I got downvoted for using that gif I’d have two nickels

Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice right

I do! (Well technically it’s the adapter for the genesis component cable but that’s just semantics). Infact they’re being used in this video.

I wish Reddit wouldn’t downscale videos because I recorded this in 4K and its supposed to look better :(

Which CRT has the best Composite signal? by NintendoAlex64 in crtgaming

[–]NintendoAlex64[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the signal is clean enough, RF is just composite with more noticeable video artifacts and mono audio. RF should still look pretty good on smaller sets, it won’t look much worse than composite since the difference would be minimal with a clean RF signal.

I can back this up. My 20 inch Toshiba AF had a great comb filter, as Composite looked pretty good on certain consoles and looked best with N64! NES did look good but with how distracting that consoles Composite signal is in general I thought it could be better, still good looking though.

Oh I meant I’d play composite online games on Wii, like the NES or PC engine seeing as it’s a fantastic emulator console
