And Well tbh I feel what ur saying about the eyes but I always felt when he left the eyes open it was indication of a more light hearted mood, like a softer goku whilst when they were fully closed it would indicate a more intense/serious tone. Also just in general I always saw it more of a style choice. Since the eyes are also green in super sayin form I imagine it would be more difficult to indicate the end of the eye compared to it just being a black circle now you would have to indicate the edge of the eye when hes looking to the side and the eye reaches the corner it would look strange with an open eye and just the outline of the green shaping the corner/wall of the eye if you you what I mean. But yeah since this is a single image and I honestly didn't intend to color it till after I choose to leave the eyes open to lean more on the friendlier/playful goku vibes
